I suppose its because people may feel uncomfortable around aomone who is lying to their partner (if you can lie to your qufe you sure as ahit can lie to a stranger off the internet)

Or they don't want the drama of your wife finding out at turning up screaming at them.

Its differnt for women because women are ao saught after here by men women and couples that there will always be people willing to meet them.

I have deliberately only chatted to and met single guys. And even though I'm married they still lie about it.

One guy knew I would never meet an attached guy. Lied through his teeth to me. Said he was single.

We arranged a meet and he cancelled and went quiet.

A couple of weeks later his fiancée messaged me and threw a load of abuse at me. She had a lot of personal info about me from our messages and also had my face pics and nude photos of me.

I was really worried what she would do. I managed to calm her down.m and explained I had no idea about her.
