I believe that we should tell the truth about age, looks, style of dress etc on here to avoid disappointment. Mind you, who would post the absolute truth as they perceive it ?

Ever met someone for the first time and thought .."nah don't fancy you" but then thought "but I'll be polite and at least have a chat"

And simultaneously they've been less diplomatic .. eg "Oh my God ! You look NOTHING like your photo (cheeky %#$@)

If you were writing your profile with the "soft focus" off.,what would you put ??

Would YOU answer one that said crumpled old munter with saggy tits ? Or deranged guy in mid life crisis with small cock ?

With me is complete honesty. What you see in my pics is what you get in real life oh appart from the piercing that's fake oh n my bush has grown back.......oh shite I'M A FAKE!!!!!!!

I've had people tell me I look younger than my pics...

As for me I make it known quite early on if I don't fancy them... I much prefer to be upfront about it and would hope that others would be so with me, but it's never happened yet

As much as it hurts hearing your not my type (purely based on looks

) i much prefer this early on rather than the point of just before arranging something.

I'm always polite on a meet and wouldn't dream of being rude and saying sorry your a munter and I'm not staying for a drink.

I'd stay for a little while out of politeness and then make my excuses and leave.

Regarding my own profile I prefer not to big myself up with well shot photos and a bragging profile etc.

Then hopefully on a meet they are pleasantly surprised when they see me in person rather than be disappointed.

It seems to work for me.

I'm completely honest. Always have been. And im sure many have been put off as a result, but I see that as separating the sheep from the goats.

Having said that, I do think my pics make me look somewhat better than in real life.

That's why I like to go to clubs...you can see the person in real time.....connection is a must for me....you don't get much from messaging on here ....as they can say what you want to hear and see. ....and here I've had people begging even though I've said sorry not my type...I've had the same back I don't beg if it's no its no....

I always find out what I need before I meet - so I'm never disappointed

I always am honest in my profile and other wise there is no point in telling lies they either like me or not. So far not but hey I prefer that then having the embarrassment of being caught out in a lie

We've had meets where in person we haven't been attracted to people. It happens,sometimes it's not looks but attitude that puts us off.

We've had people not be attracted/like us in person.

While we are always honest, we would never be rude or horrible about it. Just don't see the need for it. Usually stay for a couple of drinks before excusing ourselves.

I've been told a couple of times I look taller in my pics. Found that a bit strange.
