I have just recently decided to grow a beard and I was wondering what people's thoughts were on beards. Do people like them or believe they should be a thing of the past. Would you meet a guy with a beard or put off by it. I know everyone is different but I would like to hear your thoughts

Why would they be a thing of the past? They're more popular than ever. All those hipsters with their big bushy lumberjack beards. Ok those guys look stupid, bad example. Personally I won't be caught with my beard.

I used to think the same way about my beard but it's growing on me ( pardon the pun) ?. The reason I said thing of the past because I have come across some people who hates them and should of died out with history. I like my beard now and I also used beard oils to help keep it soft and smelling nice.

I can't do beards...

Firstly it doesn't grow evenly and secondly it gets itchy as fuck after the 2nd week.

I go for the stubble and goatee look. Been like that for years

I happen to think beards are sexy as hell---on some men! and the ugliest thing on others. If only men would look at themselves in the mirror and go with whatever looks best, not just the current fashion.

I've never done fashion. My look is the same now as it was 15 years ago. A lot of my wardrobe is frighteningly still the same

I have a beard but, I trim it. I used to hate having one but, now I'm just to lazy to shave .

I would say I like my beard 80% of the time because for the rest 20% it itches a bit.

As for beards on ladies, absolutely not !

Beard gives women the extra tickle when giving oral pleasure. I always wondered about the long curly tosh as well (I call it the Frenchman tosh) tickles the inner thigh as you slowly work your way up

I don't like beards and will not meet a man that has one as I do find them off putting.

I thought this would be an interesting topic due to everyone's different opinions. I didn't post this to see if i should keep it or not. I am keeping it because i want to. If it became between my beard or a meet with someone then my beard will win .

people that know me very well said the beard suits me and i should keep it. I don't know if they was just being nice or honest but i don't really care. Because at the end of the day my opinion is the only one that matters .

Also peoples replies have made my laugh

Plus i had a work colleague who told me she loves beards because it tickles her when the guy goes down on her.hmmmmmm i don't know if she was hinting at me

A nice neatly trimmed beard for me to run my fingers through, oh yes one of those long bushy things, yuk!

It is matter of individual preference. I have one so I don't look twelve!

I like hair on men,but not struck on the ZZ top look. A naked man with a beard, chest and pubic hair is sexy.

"I have just recently decided to grow a beard and I was wondering what people's thoughts were on beards. Do people like them or believe they should be a thing of the past. Would you meet a guy with a beard or put off by it. I know everyone is different but I would like to hear your thoughts "

"I had a beard for a few years but shaved it off once it started to get grey. Went into work and everybody said I looked younger and better for shaving it off. "

Funny you should say that...

I once shaved off my facial hair out of curiosity, and everyone said I looked older

I grew a beard a few months ago and everyone said it made me look like Jeremy Corbyn. Needless to say, I'm now clean shaven lol

Market Harborough

For me, facial hair and its attractiveness totally depends on whether it actually suits the guy and enhances his looks or not.

(Having said that, I definitely prefer the thin modern sculpted facial hair than the huge bushy beasts that could harbour small animals without detection. )

North Devon-ish

Not for me...Clean shaven always..

Nothing against a Guy growing a beard and it does suit many of them, but as for meeting them, it is a sorry from me...
