I just like birds, skulls, animals and flowers, so got them put onto my skin.

I have a rat skeleton the length of my forearm, with his head on my wrist.

Two reasons.

1. My partner used to keep rats and really loves them as creatures. I wanted something to commemorate almost four years together since he really changed my life for the better.

2. Last year sometime I saw a hurtful cartoon in one of the paper, where refugees coming to Europe were being portrayed as rats, bringing disease and trouble. So I got the rat drawn on my forearm, somewhere that I will always see it, as a reminder never to be such an inhumane cunt as that illustrator. It reminds me every day that there are people hurting in the world that need help, and I should do whatever I can - even if that's only stopping and thinking about their situation, and being grateful for what I have.

That's a really positive reason to get a tattoo, and a nice touch. Good stuff
