Time to answer email

What do you think is an ok time to answer an email.

We received one last night about 1.20am read it and then went to do something, came back to an email with abuse in it, from the sender.

we were gone 15 mins !!

we were in shock I think !

As long as you need.

If someone sends you another email because you are yet to reply to one they've sent, no matter how long you've taken, it would be delete and block for us.

As edwalu above said, as long as you need. I've emailed people and had no response for a few days. I didn't expect one after a few hours so I was pleasantly surprised. You should email someone back when you're good and ready to and if they're not patient enough to wait for a reply, you'll know there's not worth meeting

Some people are strange and impatient

, I try to reply to the emails as soon weather it's here or somewhere else but I'm not glued to my computer 24/7 so there's going to be times when I'm not there to reply.
