Retirement Village

Hi all

Me and my FWB have been thinking of the idea of letting the other have complete control. It really is something that gets us both hot and bothered.

She wants to take cuff me and use a strap on and i'm up for it

I want to tie her and make her cum with out penetration so she incredibly sensitive when i do

We have cuffs, vibe, strap on, blind fold, massage oils etc but im struggling with finding rope and an intimate way of tying someone without hurting them. I have seen some at hardware stores (cotton rope) & obviously at adult shops but wonder what others would recommend?

Also i need help in tying her up. Any advice or guidance would be apprecaited xx

Have seen them and they do look a good idea but i have cuffs and want to make the effort with rope. Think it would be a lot more erotic and intimate slowly tying her

it can be as simple or as complex as you want it to be. I have various rope from sex shops, fetish markets and from hardware stores. Makes no odds. Last time I tied someone up, I used my stockings. There are various tutorial videos you can watch of simple tying techniques. Just play about and see what you find fun.

2 knotty boys. And soft rope. Get a much longer length than you think you'll need. I've not used bondage tape but that might be a good start?

I learnt my techniques by viewing rope play on you tube, a great resource for tutorial films

Thanks all for the posts and PMs. Got a few more ideas now and thoughts of where to look.

Didn't about everyday household stuff. I will not look at clothes pegs in the same way again

If I may add to some previously helpful posts. Soft rope is okay but the yarns are loose and after a short time start to fray. If you're keen to start correctly, order 2-3 bundles of 6mm Jute. It's what we currently use and is excellent quality. Don't forget your cutting sheers, time to practice and have fun. -M

Jute rope every time! But it takes some preparation, boiling, oiling and drying. The smell of the role is amazing x

I wouldn't overthink it all to be honest.

Start off slowly and simply. It can be a real turn off for both of you if one of you is fiddling with knots you're not comfortable with.

If your cuffs have a D ring or something similar, just get some everyday rope from B&Q, cut a long length and feed it under the mattress, then you can just pull out the ends, tie to the D-ring and hey presto... Not a bad way to start.

You can purchase Jute ready to use, no need to purchase the raw product unless you're really keen to do so. -M

I'm a very lazy Domme, never had patience with rope. Just strap them down/up and crack on!

Try searching for shibari rope bondage in your area. Workshops are pretty popular at the moment

If you are a newbie l would recommend cotton rope which you can get on ebay or amazon. I would avoid the Knotty Boys for sex play. Instead check out Chantra Rose's book Bondage for Sex. I would highly recommend it if you are limiting yourself to bedroom restraint. Also look at the crotch rope tie on youtube. Good luck!

Thanks again for the ideas all.

In the end i didnt get rope for our first try but did use cuffs and my belt as an inpromptu whip and tie-down.

We both ended up drained and satisfied and i've been promised a kinky massage for my efforts

Thanks for the advice. Got under bed restraints which work good but tbh we have been making do with what ever was there at the time. Leggings, belt, tie but most fun was clearing the garage and finding some rope which led to an inpromptu session and me being tied to the rafters and at her naughty mercy

I tend to use dyneema SK75 rope as I have it hanging around from hammock camping for the bits of self bondage I've tried. It is a hollow core braided synthetic rope with very high static load to weight ratio.

Whoopie slings especially make it easier as they can be rigged so I can set things to the right tension without being easy to release. Can be interesting especially when coupled with an ice lock system but you do need to have thought through your emergency plan when playing like this.

Dom I knew used rope that had been used in theatres as they renew it regularly. Nice thick black rope.

Try the fet website for workshops and help.
