FabSwingers.com forum: Chatting??

I am wondering if many folk, like myself, find the potential for chatting with similar minded people on here an interest? I know many simply use fab for setting up meets, and of course that is the idea. But surely it's an opportunity for people to simply chat too? I don't mean the 'what are you wearing' or the 'then what will we do' type chats. More of a sharing of the positive and negative elements of swinging and general, decent interaction. I will say, I have had some lovely chats with folk on here. But it always comes as a surprise when one finds such dialogue. Which is a little sad really. So thoughts anyone?

I would have thought that the fact there is a popular forum section on the site shows people like to chat, express their views and even have a debate.

Indeed, yes, but it's also nice to chat to individuals and keep opinions less varied and therefore easier to relate ones mind. Posting in the forum can illicit too many alternative views to which in turn muddies the water somewhat. Each to their own, and the possibility to use both communications is always there anyway. ??

yeah i'd prefer to chat as well in case they say anything to put me off them.

I spend a lot of time chatting to friends on here, and by that I mean normal, everyday conversations, usually cake is spoken about lol. So yes people do use the site for that certainly

We have always loved the social side of the scene as much as the play; we often went to chameleons and other clubs to simply chill out with like minded people. I have also always found that if I can get turned on with someone's mind as well as their appearance then the play is far more exciting.
