Our biggest issue has always been with other couples, although saying that over the 9 years we have been on here we have only really experienced a small handful of time wasters. We have always been very strict and insist on chatting first online, cam verification and a social only drink. As a result we have always had a really positive experience, fantastic play meets and hopefully will have many more.

If you arrange a meet and they don't turn up or cancel last minute, that is a time waster.

What you are describing is someone who has got bored of you and has no interest in fucking you..... or a bloke

We wouldn't really call anyone time wasters because we've usually at least had a decent conversation with people however, there's been a few couples who are newbies that just seem too scared to take the plunge. They'll talk for ages but never want to lock a date down.

Thing is, we love to be social and get to know people regardless if it ends up with sex or not. I think setting out with the belief that if someone is chatting to you then they WILL sleep with you is a bad way to work.

We like to socialise and network and if it ends up being turned to sex then excellent! If not then it's not a big deal and we've just had a decent time making new aquaintences.

That way we are never let down and we don't get out hopes up and we don't see it as our time being wasted.

I just don't bother with time wasters. if i'm not getting what i want from someone then i move on, and ignore them.

i know i like sex but i'm not only about sex on here. so anyway putting words into my mouth... i've actually spoken to a couple of guys for over a year before meeting, and some for months, some i probably will never meet up with at all but still chat with because i like chatting to them.

but what is the point in interacting with people if you are not getting what you want in return? whatever that is.

people are here for mutual fun, they can decide for themselves what they mutually want and if one person isn't getting that then why continue for the sake of giving the other person what they want when they have no consideration for your needs?

People can decide to not sleep with you but still want to chat. Are you considering THEIR needs? Ultimately what you're saying is, in some instances, if you're not getting what you want out of the exchange then you will move on instead of going in with an open mind and not expecting sex.

I like to chat for a while before meeting, unless if course it is possible to arrange a coffee meet quickly. However, many of the people on here are parents, work, etc so have limited free time.

Its not to say I won't meet but it can take months to get a mutual date, those that are worth it are happy with that, if not, they are not for me anyways.

Your other option of course, which I use mostly, is to go to clubs and meet people there

I think it's something we have to put up with, they get off on it, but it is annoying, I am getting that. It's best to meet people at clubs face to face and then if you want private meet, you already know them, on here to many not even bother to reply which I find rude, yes you may get lots of messages , but a quick no thank you, how long does that take. So hope you see you at the Atlantis club most Friday nights.

We tend to like to chat for a fair while before we talk about possibly meeting up, if at all. We still consider ourselves as newbies to swinging so we're still excited by chatting to a couple online who find us attractive.

We're up front about our level of experience and our comfort zone in taking things very slow. We've had couples message us and then press us to arrange a meet or a cam chat there and then despite us telling them that we like to go slow. Some of these have called us time wasters and have gone on to block us. We've also just gone radio silent on couples who really haven't understood what we're about. Or just not replied to messages that have gone 'hi! This is our face pic. Send us yours and your Skype and let's meet up!'. Easy there tiger!

We're looking for people who we could be vanilla friends with and have double dates that could end up as swinging. Not to pick someone out of a line up to bang there and then.

If that makes us time wasters then I guess that's what we are

We are sort of similar in that we aren't after the quick bang. Even at clubs we love to socialise for a few hours before deciding if we would like to be with anyone (and even then we still so far have tended to stick to our friends or friends of friends).

We have kids so we don't always meet straight away and usually take a few weeks to mull people over and chat etc before arranging a sitter!

I wouldn't say you're timewasters at all, you just know what you want and need and anyone who pushes you into a meet isn't worth meeting anyway!

Not so much myself but my wife and a female friend have lots of trouble with guys who talk the talk but cannot walk the walk.

Interesting that some people think that wanting to talk about what might happen is a sign of a timewaster. I love to build up by exchanging messages about what we like, what we might well do when together...to me that's part of the fun of the days leading up to a meet (I never meet last minute).

From what I can tell, the timewasters are mostly guys who are new to the site (under 3 months) who have never done anything like this before and they get cold feet...or the guys who have been on over a year and have no verifications. They are often after wank fodder and pictures.

But it's generalising, there are great newbies and guys who take their time. I do get the impression there are a LOT more timewasters now than there were on the sites 10 years ago.

Amount of times,ive spend over an hour getting dressed and doing make up and then meets havent showed or ive travelled to a meeting place and they havent showed even people ive spoke to on phone beforehand. Maybe its cus Fab is a free site ive had conversations with genuine meets who say you wudnt get it with a fee paying site its just something you have to put up with

That's the thing...even as a guy I have had my share of being stood up...I am not one for fancy clothes but I shower, change into clean smart casuals, pack a bag if I want to take toys etc....only to find I am stood up.

My wife and friend often spend an hour or more bathing, shaving, trying on outfits and making themselves super-lovely...and of course my wife will have arranged with me to go out or for me to go somewhere so she can accommodate...the friend I am thinking of similarly arranges with her hubby. It's bloody annoying when the other person is a no-show...or just disappears a couple of days before the proposed meet leaving you unsure what is happening.

I have had an experience with a time waster this evening. I am disappointed it didn't happen but more annoyed that there was no explanation as to the reason for the no show and it meant I wasted time I could have been doing other things. But hey ho such is life

Did the whole social meet thing first,she decided she wanted to meet up and take things further to the point of telling me what hotel to book and guess what she never turned up woukdnt even reply to my text saying it's cool if shes changed her mind just dont have me outside hotel like a idiot ,up to this day almost 3 months on she never replied or said sorry but shes still online here

I can't say I've ever had a time waster as in someone not show up, but I have had hours/days of chat for the other (usually single males) to back out of meeting at the last minute because they think I'm "not who I say I am".

I said before in a previous post that it was funny at first but having had it happen yet again last night, it's just getting in the way of meeting people. I don't know how much more me I can be.

I feel that a time waster is someone who chats for a while, probably exchanges a few photos...arranges a meet and seems really enthusiastic to meet...then falls off the radar a day or two before the proposed meet and doesn't communicate.

Yes, people change their minds or emergencies happen. In the former case, they can always say "sorry, I can't meet"...in the latter they can apologise after the event and explain.

Timewasters will not do this, they will simply block you after the failed meet or just ignore you...or leave the site! They often get a wank or two out of the conversation and never intended to meet.

My wife just had one such "gentleman" who stood her up last week...made a lame excuse the day after so she gave him a second chance and he stood her up again. Classic timewaster, so in the block bin he goes. Idiot...I know what he's missing out on

I don't think there is anything wrong with chatting and getting to know someone. It is certainly not always an indicator that someone is a timewaster.

I simply find that sex is best when two people know each other, their likes, dislikes...what turns each other on...and that takes more than a couple of messages.

I generally prefer to chat for a week before meeting with someone, and have usually had far better meets that way than chatting for a day or two. But I am never after a quickie, I like to explore lots of foreplay.

We were accused today of being time wasters and pic collectors. We know what we want and a lot of cock pics we get sent arent what we're looking for. People get very offended if we say not for us etc. A lot of guys want me to meet alone. Even though we say only as a couple.

A time waster is someone who shows interest in meeting and doesn't ever meet.

That could be someone who vaguely talks about meeting "in a few weeks when I am free" or someone who actually arranges a time/place and doesn't show.

How to spot them? Difficult but sometimes - with men in particular - they have been on for a year with no veris, or are very new, want lots of pictures or want to cam. But those are not sure signs of a timewaster.

I've had a few. I'm bi so both men and women. Well I say women someone pointed out that men may pose as women. So who knows probably a hairy trucker. I don't have anything against hairy truckers. Sorry I digress.

I decided to put on blocks for people who don't have verifications and pictures. Didn't really want to, we've all been new on here at some point. But I can pick out the ones that have made an effort on there profile.

I can guess some people just bottle it. You can tell them normally the msg's tend to be slightly aprehensive when talking about what they like sexually. Or asking lots of questions that seem a bit over the top. Had one cancel a couple of times, then just disapear bless em.

I think I had a proffessional timewaster as I like to call them. Very into it lots ideas. (dream world) Even up until half an hr before we were meeting he said which comdoms he liked. I was going to the shop. Then nothing. Still online just ignored me.

Well at least it made me tidy my house

I think they should get rid of verification by cam. It just says they exist, not that they have the plums to turn up.
