Is it just me or do others get messages asking for advice of info that's easily available on the website or forums or even Google? Tonight I've been asked for a clubs website, it's address, opening times and prices. Yes I may be a club regular but I don't work there and I get enough messages!

And now I've now just had a message asking for info on trains into London. Seriously wtf??!! Think I might change my username to google or tourist information

I put a lot of it on my profile. I will only do club meets so I figured put the club info there. I can naively hope someone will read it

I've had a few cheeky "will you give me a lift?" messages too.

I honestly don't mind answering some questions but rates for the nearest hotel, how much it'll it'll cost someone in petrol and the price-paid-to-shags-had ratio aren't my role. All real examples from this and previous profiles too

I dont know what I'm putting out there but I get a fair few requests for info on good pubs in Bristol. I also get the occasional shopping advice request about clothed and lingerie. Those I dont mind.

I get people asking me about clubs I've been to all the time, usually really basic stuff that you would visit their website for or where to go out or places to eat in Wolves/Birmingham.... Isn't part of the fun finding these things out yourself? Lol

Hahahaha some people make me laugh! I know there's a bus goes right past it but would know the details and would entertain the question

I think a poster above is right it's to get chatting but seriously, I get enough bullshit messages that it just winds me up. If you want my attention talk to me another way! Otherwise, like the bloke asking about trains, you get my tongue and not the way you really really want it

It's probably a rather inept way to start conversation. I suppose it might be slightly preferable to "wanna fuk tonite?"

Perhaps they think that by asking a question you will feel obliged to reply.

Personally if I wanted to know about public transport near a club I would first check said club's website, and if it wasn't mention I would possibly email the club and consult Google Maps.
