I was lead to believe it harks back to the days when we were running round with wooly mammoths. Apparently our sense of smell was more finely attuned and played a greater part in finding a mate. Maudy has perfectly trimmed bits and I really enjoy doing the details myself. It's something we do together.

The finished result is beautiful in our eyes, not Amazonian rain forest or bald but somewhere neat in-between.. It takes a lot longer to do than just shaving it all off..

There's another factor in all of this, all shaved ladies look basically the same and unless it's literally just been done most are as scratchy as hell and much worse than having hair.

Buck the trend ladies! Perfectly trimmed and short is the way to go.
