Seen a few of these threads about, I'll be at the SOHO sexual health clinic in Birmingham soon!

So if you're nearby and want a verification to get things started on here pop in! Also a great way to make sure you're up to date on your testing as they have a drop in clinic this morning!

A verification is simply to verify someone is real and looks like their pics etc

No no I totally see your point! I just constantly see threads of people saying 'oh I can't get meets because I don't have any verifications and I can't get verified because I can't get a meet'. I personally wouldn't meet someone sexually who hadn't been verified, purely for my own safety, and obviously social veri's aren't the same as sexual veri's (they could turn out to be mental in bed), but it can prove that they look like their photo's, that they smelled nice and seemed normal!

Everyone has to start somewhere and many people do meet those without verifications but there are many out there who won't!

Your veri's are hidden, you could have just met those 3 men for coffee. However I would be more likely to meet with someone with veri's as it proves that there a people out there who are stating that this person/people look like their photos and aren't crazy as far as they are aware.

It states what kind of veri it is on your profile cam/meet in person etc.

I would see a person with 10 cam veri's the same as I would see a person with no veri's at all. I only go by the meet in person veri's.

That's a little bit cynical and taking things to the extreme. I think its a nice sentiment and I plan on doing something similar next time I'm at a loose end.

you can only get a veri from meeting or camming...

camming ones are a waste of time so all that's left is meeting ones...and as long as the person turns up and is genuinely who they say they are then whats the problem?

not knocking it everyone to themselves and ive just learnt a new thing too did not know the veri's in the side bar stated very by meet /cam/phone so guess as long as everyone can see how someone was verified the all is cool deffo not looking to wrong people just wanted to know..sorry if offened

You didn't offend at all! Some people ignore verifications completely, but some like me, put quite abit of stock into them

I see plenty of threads and statuses with people complaining about the number of fake accounts on Fab so for someone who is themselves genuine to offer a social meet to verify that someone else is real, and fits the images in their profile pics isn't a crime, in fact don't most people start with socials rather than jumping straight into bed with someone? Whether other people choose to verify after a social is their choice.

Anyway, who knows where a casual social might lead.

Kopite isn't offering anyone a fake verification, she's offering a social hand up the first step of the ladder.

No no it's a perfectly valid opinion, I think as single girls we do get an easy ride though. It must be fairly demoralising if as a single guy you read a hundred profiles and compose witty/friendly/polite/unique first messages to either get knocked back or to not receive a reply at all. Sometimes it may be their own fault as they don't fit the requirements, or the couple/lady may not be looking to meet, however there's a lot (including myself) who will discount someone immediately if they haven't got a green tick. I get so many messages (as in sure do all the other single girls on here) that I need some way of narrowing them down and that's a way I use! No veri no meet!

I don't think anything is wrong with it.

Iv met for coffee and they looked nothing like their pictures so no verification.

It just gives those a chance as alot seem to forget that we were all new at one put someone took a chance on us and here we are xx

They prove people meet. unlike webcam that only proves someone turns on a camera
