Do women really like taller guys? I'm over 6ft which is great apparently, but I didn't know it was such a big thing until I joined a dating site

Hight don't really bother me that much, if a relationship I'd prefer them to be taller than me but don't have to be really tall just taller than me

For a meet off here I'm really not bothered how tall they are

I like guys to be taller than me when I'm wearing heels, I'm 5'2 so I ask for guys to be at least 5'10 so I still look lots smaller than them. My ex of 10 years was 6'3 and was lovely to be next to him. Tall guys make me feel all small and cute!

I could never date anyone really shorter than me

I would be paranoid they kept looking up and looking up my nose or really close to arm pits

And would spend whole time paranoid I smelt ot had untidy nasal hair

That definitely is a factor for most women, not dwarfing guys in a pair of heels.

This subject comes up regular & I have a friend who is a stunner & I mean movie star stunning!

I'm 5'9" ish, she's 5'11" and we click, but I'd love to match her up with a taller guy... But...

It turns out she outclasses most, therefore it's fucking difficult...

She's smart, super well travelled and has class, but doesn't mind roughing it...

She's always complaining how the tall ones get left on the shelf, so at the end of this year she's going to the USA for 3 months... Tall is pretty common over there...

Point is... It seems most guys have one attribute that they think is special, when reality is its not...

Ok I have high expectations and expect nearly everyone I come into contact with to be a Swiss Army knife of skills, subjects, knowledge and physicality....

But finding big, tall, clever & experienced..... Very, very difficult...

Oh and experienced does not simply mean older... I had more experience at 25 than most 50 year olds... She's 29 and has similar...

Blatant discrimination against us who didn't reach the heights of others. Let's face it , its no fun asking a tall lady to if she can get you a box of cocoa pops off the top shelf in Asda. It's OK I'm not bitter Grrrr !

Height has never been a factor when looking for dates and it's of complete insignificance on here. I guess I am lucky to be completely average though so most men are taller than me by default.

In my experience and opinion yeah most women do like taller guys and if I had 1p for everytime a woman has got talking to me on a dating site we have totally got along and there has been a attraction, then soon as they ask my height and I tell them I'm 5ft5 they are like "sorry you're too short for me" I would of been able to pay to be made taller 7ft or something and still have a few million left ha ha ha

Mrs J is 6' tall in her bare feet. In 6" heels she towers above virtually everyone - male or female.

Finding someone taller than her is actually rare.

Thankfully for me however she really doesn't care what height a guy is.

Yes, I'm sure there is!

I'm very tall and whilst that's great for some people I certainly dont value nor market myself by that point. Much the same as 'bbc' or the like, if I'm selling myself based around the pure pot luck of my genetics then that says a lot about the rest of me. I may be tall but that's just one small aspect of me

I'm going to go out on a limb here - I'd suggest that it's not her height holding her back, but her intelligence.

I am reasonably smart (or, I like to think I am anyway) and I far too often get told by guys that I'm too intimidating for them or that they feel inferior.

It goes back to the fact that lots of people want an "intelligent" woman - but not one that is more intelligent than them.

I don't know... I've never considered myself intelligent, only opportunistic and intuitive, she has never intimidate me or I have never noticed this side from her...

And it's not just bf material she has trouble with, it's simply fucking material. She would like a guy taller than her, but I find myself constantly thinking "don't blow this!"
