Unmade beds?

Just a light hearted topic for a Sunday morning.

I've noticed over the years that a lot of girls I've met have badly made or unmade beds. The tidier the rest of the house and more beautifully turned out the girl the worse their bed making skills!

Anyone care to own up or gents care to confirm my experiences?

Mr

Reading

'Apparently' making your bed every morning makes you feel better about yourself.

No I haven't made my own yet this morning. It wasn't bothering me until I read this post.

I couldn't walk out of the house if my bed wasn't made

OCD at its very best

London and France

Very off putting to find an unmade bed.

And something alluring about starting off in a fabulously crisp, clean , well made bed, and finishing with it in a destroyed mess

What exactly do you mean by 'well made'?

I just have a bed with a bottom sheet, a duvet thrown over the top and a quilt. All I do to 'make' it is turn the top back after I've got out.

Fresh bedding every time for meets...who would want to lie naked in a morass of someone else's discarded skin cells and sweat unless you'd been the reason for the sweating and shedding?

Oh I'm not saying that the bedding is at all grubby... Just not"tied" down well!

My bed has to be made in a particular way. Something I'm really fussy about. If your bed isn't made, the whole room looks a mess.

Let's face it it's not too taxing to throw the duvet back on the bed and then plump the pillows up... Simples

We always make our bed when we get up. It's part of the routine as much as having a bath and getting dressed. Just plump the pillows and pull the quilt up

I thought we were going to be talking about people who look like an unmade bed.

Put some effort in folks!

I believe it is a good idea to leave the covers off as far as possible to allow the bed to air. We do that when we get up but make the bed by lunchtime.

We always pull the duvet neatly back in the morning to allow the bed to air, it's a rare occasion that either of us think to pull it back up until we get in at night

I never make the bed...I'm only going to be getting back in it again so it'll get messaged up anyway.

I don't let 'meets' into my bed. Too special a place

However I am particular about my bed. It has a faux fur blanket as a base sheet so it's like I'm sleeping on teddy bears. Then a duvet. Then a throw. Then about 15 pillows placed specifically. It beyond breaks my tiny mind when my boyfriend destroys my bed. I can't lie on creases.

It's just me then? Lol...

Clearly your a very tidy lot..

On the subject of cushions and extra pillows. I was in a "dressed" showhome the other day and there were so many spares you'd have had to put them in another room to get to the bed when you took them all off!
