To block or not to block

what are some of the reasons why you block peeps and heres one for you peeps, cpls blocking you for just looking at there profile for me thats just a bit odd and youve not even had contact with them

We only block guys who can't take a hint, keep being pushy, or who have been overtly rude in some way

I block anyone I don't like the look off it's there for a reason it stops the underlings contacting me

I've only had to block two people for being rude, I also reported them and "poof" they were gone.

Nowadays I block when people keep sending me messages I don't respond to. If they send me a message, I look at your profile and they're outside what I'm looking for I ignore them. My profile states I wont contact anyone outside what I'm looking for: if they don't see that...tough!

If they keep sending me messages - I just block them. End of messages!

I only block people who have spoiled my enjoyment of the chatroom. However, everyone uses the block facility in the way that suits them best. Some people block everyone who they would not meet with. It's not an insult, just a 'sorry, you're not for me', and it saves the blockee time in typing out a message which would not be welcomed.

I only block cheaters, anyone abusive towards me in messages and those ive met, that turns out to be a bad meet.

Oh yes and my son mate who just happens to be on here

block people who are abrusive ,foul mouthed and disrespectful.And who cant be bothered to read my profile then ask me for something it clearly says i dont do.

Thankfully 99% of people on here are fantastic xx

Peeps i dont like the look of.

Cut and paste mails.

Guys who pee me off.

Time wasters.

We tend to block those who message us, then the following day message us again saying, "I messaged you yesterday and no reply" then the next day the message us again saying, "We messaged you twice and you've still not replied" .... get the picture ?

Yes, we block pests

I have never blocked anyone on here

My block list is totally empty

That does not mean i havnt had rude and offesnive mail or pushy guys annoying me i just dont block for some reason, i find if you ignor them they get bored and piss off lol

Its a good question tho as i have been blocked by quite a few people on here, and i just mean normal forum users not people i know, theres been several times i've read a post, gone for a nose at their profile and im blocked, does make you wonder why when you have never even spoken to them

I mean what reason would you have to block someone you have never even so much as said hi to?

do you think people on here are really that shallow that they cant even talk to those they dont fancy? they look at your pics...think not my type and block you?

Altho thats their right to do so its pretty sad i think

I wouldn't block anyone on forums unless they were really rude to me but reading posts I can see some make a rod for their own backs

I personally look through the new men section most days and block anyone local who can't accommodate, is under 5'10"ft, says they're vvw, has a profile in text speak or on the rare occassion there is a photo those I just dont like the look of.

It saves them the trouble of contacting me as they are not what I'm looking for and I dont have to keep saying "thanks for the message but not for me

I find it works for me and is for my convience.

i have complained about 2 guys sending me nasty emails and the site did nothing and not even a responce,many single fems get nasty emails but yet the site does nothing ..why is that but yet if you return one with abuse back and they report you........boom you can not sue your account again....why is that?

I have blocked users from another site that I dont want contact with on here, and ill block pests, ie the 'you havnt answered my message' type and Id block forum members who scrutinise my profile, my verifications or my pics and use that info on the forum to disagree with me

I had comments once in relation to us going to chams on bi night but only one of us is down as bi on our profile and a comnent regarding the age range ie one of my playmates being outside the age range in my profile. When people go to those lenghts to scrutinise my verifications and personal information then I seriously wonder about them because I can put what I like on my profile and go where i like, and people do that when they want to find an excuse to pick. I have never asked anyone to give feedback on my profile so their comments are unwarranted

We only block persistent irritants who obviously cant be bothered to read our profile yet still insist on sending blanket messages..

Otherwise we dont really block anyone..even a couple of people a year or so ago who questioned our 'right' to be here...blocking them would have been ducking out of an argument.

For a site this big I think its fair to say theat 99% of people are eally nice..

Its against site rules to mention any names , but yes there are people like this on the site and very proud of this fact . Good for them.

I also think some dont talk to the ones they fancy which is a shame but strange .

We never used to block anyone, but nowadays the criteria is---

Anyone who has let us down.

Any couple who has said no to a meet (saves looking at the profile again)

Anyone who has been abusive to us.

Invites from people who don't fit our profile (reason 2 above)

We've not felt the need to block anyone so far and I don't really expect to. I am on another social site where friends complain about having to block people and yet again on that site I've never blocked anyone.

I don't know if it because we don't attract the persistant/oddities or whether it's just our attitude is pretty easy going and it is pretty difficult to offend us.

If we get winks or messages we usually try to respond within 24 hours and if we have winked/messaged and don't get a response then we don't do it again.

In the chat room we can both give as good as we get and although I can't speak for Wolf, I certainly haven't fallen out with anyone.

I have started to request those whom I have declined more than once to block me, so as to prevent future occurrence.

Kinder this way than to block them myself IMHO!

I have been very lucky and only have a small block list-2 actually, one I thought might be a playmate, but he decide to tell a friend not to contact him again because he had met someone in real life , well I sent him a polite pm saying if he couldn't send the pm to me and not our friend its better we don't communicate.. I think I was a pawn in his power game really

And the second one- well that was nastly and after a few polite leave me alones... he didn't get the message.. I try to deal with difficuly ones politely and thankfully I don't have much bother- says her waiting for it to start now
