So I have a 'mate' who has a meet arranged with someone, who may or may not be off fab but she knows he is on here. She is looking for a fb nothing more. He thinks she is out of his league and is getting nervous about the meet. Nothing is set in stone about whether it's just going to be a social or something more.

His question is should he try to impress her by taking flowers/wine with him? Or do what he normally does when he's not nervous about meeting?! Which is just rock up

He is slightly worried that he is nervous because it feels more that just a meet for no other reason than they have texted loads and really get on well

I think it would be weird if you turned up with flowers for a fuck meet.

Bottle of wine would be better as it'll get opened, ease the tension and is a shared thing.

The danger here seems to be you're reading or wishing more into the situation than there is right now.

It's a meet, like any other. You like her and that's good, means you should get on well in the bedroom too.

Don't blow it by hoping or wondering about more, before you've even met
