How long did you have the vasectomy, it takes a long time for everything inside to heal property. I thought the same as you once I had mine done but now I can't tell any difference except no live swimmers

The tube is cut that carries the sperm. Semen comes from another area. Balls removed is castration which is what happens to dogs etc.

I noticed no drop in volume.

Didn't make a difference to the volume for me, just the viscosity, more runny than thick and globular.

Not a bad thing as I've found that not a few women who said they never swallowed, did. Think swallowing a runny milkshake instead of thick porridge. Silver linings and all that.....

Only about 5% of seminal fluid comes from the testes,which is the supply they cut off with a vasectomy. Maybe your prostate needs a massage

There are so many misconceptions abiut our bodies that I'm seriously thinking about starting a thread to go over them...

Semen comes from balls.

You need to cum frequently or it's bad for your balls.

Shaving makes your hair grow back thicker.

Shaving is more hygenic.

Real work gives better muscles than weights.

That's my starting list!

Age, medication, testosterone deficiency and prostate issues are just some causes of reduced ejaculate volume. Vasectomy normally has minimal effect on volume.

At 49, you are reaching the age where prostate problems, in particular, become common (even earlier if there is family history).

You should mention this to your GP.
