Would you have joined fab 10..20..30 years ago?

Hi, 10 years ago i would have never ever have thought to join a site like fab because the way i been brought up.

I wonder if other people on here felt the same way? And what made you to join the site later in life that you would never have joined years ago?

We've been on a few sites over the years. We got into swinging back in 2004 and our first site was swing2us, ran by a couple called Dean and Matty. Anyone remember that? Not many people on it, but fewer time wasters.

30 years? No. I'd have been 12.

20 years? No. I wouldn't have had the time and I was in a committed monogamous relationship.

10 years? If I hadn't been in a relationship, definitely!

I'd love to have had this site around the beginning of 2000 onwards. It may have saved me from a relationship that was totally wrong for me.

20 years ago....definitely, if it had existed. But when I started it was usually a po box number. Today it is more...instant. Just as lots of things are in society today. Are we a more impatient society?

10 years ago we were just starting to think about experiment, the fact it took us a further seven years to actually move from fantasy to reality suggests we were not quite ready.

Technology certainly has made it easy for couples to commit adultery and have affairs.

With the volume of people today playing away from home. Remove the technology, i.e. p.c. and mobiles.

There would be a fucking queue a mile long outside of all public phone boxes.

We first joined in 2008/9 but never met , it wasn't as easy then as lots didn't have webcams or camera phones And found it hard to out time wasters. Re joined last year.

30 years ago! Was 17 and very inexperienced - just had sex for the first time so just discovering the delights of one on one! Personally I think all young people should concentrate on 1on 1 for a few years before they think of 'mixing it up!' Like cookery - I think you need to take plenty of time learning and practicing the basics before you try out haute cuisine!

25 years ago though - HELL YES! I'd have had one hell of a time!

It never crossed my mind that anything like Planet Fab even existed until last Jan when someone enlightened me. But even if I had known ten or twenty years ago I don't think I'd have been self aware enough to handle it.

I wasn't on here but on a n other site 10 years ago. It has nothing to do with how you have been brought up. It's about personal preference and sexual needs and desires x

how you been brought up does play a part...if you been brought up in a different culture and taught no sex or relationship outside of marriage then yes it does play a part.

Coincidentally, 30 years ago (1985.. well... 31 come September) was when I first swung at a house party after my ex-porn 'starlet' girlfriend of three weeks (!!) took me to one, not realising I'd not even heard the term (I was 24 ffs!!!), let alone never been to a party where I witnessed a woman having an MMMF on a sofa in the lounge within 15 mins of getting there! Lol!

I was soooo naive about all matters to do with sex then, let alone Swinging, I would have relished the ability to go on a computer, log on to a site like this and just use it as 'reference material'.

Hard to remember how 'isolated' the scene was back then. Sites like this have transformed it. In some ways for the good. In some ways maybe not.
