"Qualifications? Insurance? " Would be more of a hobby than anything, not something I'd be looking to do full time or to live off so wouldn't need insurance or what not. I've trained a few friends in the past so that's more the sort of situation it would be!

"If I was in Liverpool yes.. My motivation is dropping... Sure you will have lots of takers " You just need to probably get back into a routine, that's what I find always helps! That's a shame but thank you anyway!

I've trained a few friends in the past so that's more the sort of situation it would be! What if you injured someone? " Like I said, would be more like a couple of mates working out , just with me giving a few pointers etc And not wanting to sound big headed but I do know my way around a gym and a lot of the time injuries come when someone isn't familiar with the equipment and exercises and therefore tend to use incorrect form leading to injuries. Having someone who knows what they're doing negates that risk

"Or only that... Unless you have good knowledge of the human anatomy and the concepts of functional exercise.. Basic nutrition. Basic exercise science...... To be brief. " I definitely have a good knowledge of human anatomy, my first degree is based on it. Been in the gym for years and have learnt an awful lot. This is going to come across so big headed but to have a physique like I do, isn't down to luck - obviously I have to know about nutrition. And just for the record you don't need to necessarily know about "basic exercise science", whatever that generalised term means, to have an outstanding physique, you just know how to train properly and pass this on.

"Good stuff mate. I spend a lot of time training but I concentrate on solely calisthenics have done for years...am not big but fit strong and lean lol. Want to get into weights but worried about injury as I approach 40. Can do a human flag though and muscle ups etc but scared of a deadlift lol." Quality pal, big respect for calisthenics - never tried it personally, would love to someday. Can do muscle ups but never explored further. Ah I think you would be fine, you just need someone to show you proper form and then just start with lighter weights, and then move up weight when you're more comfortable. Too many people choose weight over form, leave the ego's at home!

"Personal training Is so much more than having a great body .. Hence why I said gym buddy " Of course 100%. However if someone has a good body, it is testament to them knowing how to train properly, what to eat etc. So what I'm saying is that someone with a good body can probably get the same results as a PT if not better (find that a lot of PTs don't even look like they work out). Not slating PTs here by the way, know a few v.good PTs.

" Because it's not just about having a great body Some people with the pecs and muscles are very unhealthy and couldn't run a bath Having been involved in the health industry over 15 years I will have to agree to disagree.. Their diet, their medical history, medications they may be taking all should be considered A PT caters specifically for that one person I wasn't being argumentative.. But anyone handy can fix a car.. But not all are qualified to give an official MOT night x

"Wish I had the time to get back into training, I really used to enjoy it. Unfortunately with a newborn around, things like the gym had to take a back seat. Might look into bodyweight exercises I could do around the house to keep my exercise up. B" Definitely, the worst workout you can have is the one you missed - something is better than nothing!

"how many times should someone go to the gym per week, atleast Thanks" Don't think there's a definitive right answer to this as it is very multifactorial.I train minimum 5x a week but it all depends on how your body recovers, some will recover more slowly than other especially when starting out, depends on what foods you are eating, and on lifestyles as people have kids etc which limits there time. But I always think if something is important to you, you'll make time for it! I would say just a ball park figure would be around 3/4 x a week
