Ok, lets have a contraversial one now. Thread rules are no personal attacks, everyones entitled to there own opinion. We want good honest comments and anyone who gets stroppy gets spanked and sent to the naughty step

Ok, to you, what do you see swinging as? I've been asked this more than a few times so heres my own personal answer.... I see it as a great way to meet people in a way that has sexual presure removed, but isn't just about sex. I've met some great people and had some fantastic fun with them, but I can also be friends with them without any sexual tension in the background, which is what I love about it all. Its not friends with benifits, its sex with the benifits of making friends

no idea lol

im a single woman and because of this i dont see myself as a swinger there for i dont really have an answer as to what does swinging mean to me

i use swingers site to get sex i guess thats about the top and bottom of it lol

I think without friendship, it isn't swinging. Its just sex. The benefit of swinging is friendship with sex an open subject. Playing isn't mandatory.

I have struggled in the past to reconcile being single with swinging, but think that swinging has moved on. It now describes a range of sexual relationships which are openly shared and discussed.

(Lord, that sounds pompous - oh well)

i dont agree, i wouldnt swing if i was with soemone i loved, not because i wouldnt want to share my fella but because if i had regular sex with someone i loved i wouldnt feel i needed to swing, for me swinging is a way of getting sex as i am single, take that hurdle away and i would have no need to meet people off here

i dont think that makes me a hypocrite, it just makes my reson for doing this different to yours

we are all here for our own reasons

It is fun with like minded people and an opportunity to meet and enjoy all sorts of varied and interesting people. You can enter their lives for a few hours and if you really get on go back for more safe fun. Met some super people already who know how to enjoy themselves in an exciting environment.

Swinging for us isn't a part of our day to day life its not about notches on bed posts or seeing how many ppl we can meet its about making new friends quality not quantity .... we dont always jump on the person, we have a laugh chat and an enjoyable evening.....

We started swinging together because we're both very highly sexed. We love each other deeply and have great sex together, but we both have a need for sex with other people; in our previous marriages we both had many affairs and one-night-stands, so swinging allows us to have sexual variety without deceit.

We also started to push our boundaries, like Tony. We both really wish we'd started swinging much earlier in life, but the scene wasn't as accessible when we were young, and when we got married our exes wouldn't have approved of the lifestyle.

Sex is there to be enjoyed, so why not do it together; there's a real buzz from seeing your other half having pleasure with someone else. Not many vanilla couples would understand, but they might if they tried swinging.

Swinging to me is about pushing boundaries, being someone completely different, it gives me an outlet for my adventurous side, my exhibitionist side, it gives me freedom, sexual liberation, the ability to experience and experiment in a safe environment and be able to talk to people with similar interests. To dress up in sexy outfits and even though I know im not young or have a beautiful body, I feel a million dollars when im prancing about, its a good feeling. Its not about sex for me. I have a partner and I have the best sex with him, but together we are having the best fun, we are like naughty schoolchildren when we are swinging.
