a little amused really-whats the general opinion on couples putting on the age of people they wish to meet''strictly no one under 40 years of age' and plastering all over their profile no one under 40 and then you see their age come up and they are 39 years old !!!or even over 40 themselves! its just tickled me a bit and even funnier, no over 40s ''unless you are stunning lol

People have different tastes.

Some like younger, some like older & others prefer people closer to their own age.

As to the "stunning" bit, I don't we'd like to meet anyone who described themselves that way.

It's all down to taste.

PPl who post thing like we are stunning, or post no fatties or uglies( yes we have seen them), we wouldnt meet ppl who post things like that, as who is to say who is stunning etc etc, how rude they are i think to even put that up, makes them sound up their own arses if you ask me. we pass them by with a wide birth.

As for age, np ppl have thier own preference

We state no over 40s on our profile although MrH is45, we have had a few not so polite emails about it! However as I say I have one Grumpy old man I dont want another!!

It is all about personal choice, it is no different to prefering Blondes or or BBWs it is about what floats your boat.

Conversely what about the profiles of 20 and 30 yr olds who specify nobody over 40? isn't that age-ism as well?

I don't really see the problem, they could leave it off their profile, but I guess it saves people the time and effort of trying to arrange a meet with them when they would not be interested. For example we are not into single guys so we put it on our profile.

We are not anti single guys, we are just not interested in them.

People who state under 40, well maybe they get all the sex they want from their partner, but have a kink for fucking someone younger than them. Conversely, young people may have a fetish for older women and men and may put no one under 30 or 40 etc.

Everyone is one here for their own pleasure, stating what they want on their profile just cuts out the need to explain themselves to everyone and should cut out emails that they do not want to have.

We originally had age limits I think it was no one under 24 or over 40, but I think we blew that on our first trip to La Chambre. However there are always exceptions to every rule.

age is rings on the tree and maturity is about the mind and its ability to deal with situations in a "sensible" way..sometimes not accomplished in the 'younger' age group;as they don't have the benefit of life's experiences! not always true i grant you as there are def immature peeps on here from every age group but as a rule of thumb... on the other hand they can keep an erection for far longer! lol

i suppose when I see " no one younger than my kids!" i can understand that..

but its always nice to see a profile that gives you a giggle...nothing wrong with smiling..some should do it more often! jaw aching now!

preferences are just that, be they age, height, weight or whatever. We all have likes and dislikes and thats what makes us all the wonderful individuals that we are. if we all liked the same then it would be a boring old site. This way we can all find someone to enjoy.
