verifications

its part of the site requirements to show we have them - it proves we are genuine

but over the last few days i have seen people be critical over those with; too many, too few, hiding verifications, having the wrong sort!

it is all down to subjective views i realise this but ease up on something that is put there to help us choose and decide if someone is genuine!

it depends on what people use them for...

i just use it to show i was genuine and i show up... nothing more!!

I don't show any that are too rude or read like a play by play... people don't need to know that!!!

a mixture of genuine but also showing some sort of discretion...

It shows they likely met that person/s on that occasion... doesn't show how many people they fucked about and pissed off other times.

Someone could have 50 verifications... there could be another 50+ they didn't turn up for and didn't bother cancelling for all we know.

it doesnt matter what they say or how many you have - if they are your verifications why should anyone be critical of them ?

perhaps im in a bad mood today - but seriously the way people in these forums are critical sometimes just really bugs me -

Don't like to see the 'gave the best blah blah blah

' lines at all, just need to see that they are real and met when they say they would meet.

If verifications are taken as being proof that people turn up, then we should be able to withdraw them when they don't on subsequent meets.

Yes i have them, I was Originally in the camp on not showing them, so this is actually my sort of compromise that I was happy within myself...

I think there is a difference between someone saying in a verifcation "they are lovely people and i would meet them again" and "OMG I Rode her like a Stallion all night.. and she gushed all over the place.. and then the blow jobs... and spunked over her tits ect ect ect"

and that for me is the telling aspect... both those who show them AND those who write them.....

I agree with that also, just stating what we do but others will have their own way of verifying. Whatever suits them.

I guess we all like and don't like different things... just as some might feel the need to say something about the photos people use... such as "Oh dont you just hate hate hate (well dont like) the sort of pics that are just the willy and fanny shots - makes me cringe".

btw... that's not trying to have a go at you, just an example, as I can't stand them either..... though they are informative when single's profiles say "safe sex a must" and there's not a johnny in sight on the point of entry shots.

no its ok i didnt take it as a jibe - in isolation my comment does look out of context with what im saying but if you read my whole profile you would know its tongue in cheek and expresses a preference rather than publicly being critical - but you have made a good point there!

It's not just verifications though, is it? There is a tendency for people to start threads about what people have on their profiles: several running at the moment. I don't get that at all.

I hate those gushing verifications, i prefer something like, they turned up and they are who they say they are. That swings it for me, not he had a massive cock or she can suck like a Hoover. Way too much info for me.

problem with a lot of people is they set out their rules of swinging and they think they are god, and low and behold anyone who does things different to them!!

theres no right and wrong in swinging, everyones on here for their own reasons

if you dont like something on someones profile, be an adult and close it down quietly and move on without having to start a flipping thread about everying you see on here you dont agree with

I've said before what someone as on their profile is there business, whether it's bad spelling or pics. At the end of the day it's their profile not ours. The amount of married people who get their profile ripped apart when posting on threads is unreal.
