Delusions of grandeur

I don't know if it's just me!! but does anyone else feel there are a number of people on this site suffering from this?? You even get it at clubs as well! When I fist started swinging over 10 years ago I found people very welcoming even if they weren't playing, But now peoples morals and values seem to have changed from my own experience, Wondering if anyone else has experienced this at all?
