From any body hang-ups you had before you started? Or were you totally body confident before you met strangers with the possibility of sex, either 1:1 or clubs etc?

I'm asking because even though I'm relatively attractive (obviously not everyone will agree), I'm still not totally at ease with myself. I've had a c-section and my stomach will never be flat - it's my hang up.

Just wondering how others felt before they dipped their toe in. Am I worrying for nothing?

You are worrying for nothing. Until Mr N started taking pictures of me naked or in lingerie etc I had a completely false impression of what my body looks like. I was body confident but I had no idea it looks as good as it actually does (not big headed I do mean by comparison to what I imagined it looked like).

Once you get somewhere and get your kit off, look around nudity is a great leveller

I was the same, and actually put off starting swinging for 12 months, until I lost some weight. To make myself what I thought was a 'more acceptable' size and shape. That was 12 months wasted, because as soon as I went to my first club, I found that there genuinely are all shapes and sizes acceptable there. And people with scars, and people with disabilities etc. Really, swingers are just like the variety of people you see in your local Asda. But with sexier clothes

It has certainly improved our body confidence. As stated ab every age, shape,colour and body type at a club...

Frisky has got a c section scar and a scar on her breast from breast cancer. We used to put it on our profile but after loads of club fun deleted it as not a single person has commented on it...

Thank you to the rest of you. I think I'd like to try a club where you don't have to take your clothes off upon entry. I like the anticipation etc. It just seems a bit clinical if everyone is already naked at the start (to me). Maybe that's a symptom of my hang ups though!

I've not been to a club - yet - it's on my 2016 list - but since swinging I have found that there are all shapes and sizes and I am not as self-concious as I was. I am still quite shy (I think) now but far less so than I was. It has been/is a great life enhancing experience.

I was sitting stark naked having a conversation with a couple at JDs NYE and didn't feel at all self conscious about being naked while they were fully clothed. I found it strange that I didn't care

We were always 'a bit different' sexually and very adventurous from teenage days. This has made the questions we may have been slightly hesitant to bring up fully into the open, there's no holding back, fab did that.

I am very sellf concious and has stopped me from meeting people as a result, which is infuriating. I am more confident in a club setting as people can see me and choose to approach. Organised meets In private I do worry at first. I have over the years got better and realise people will only play if they want to and not out of pity.

There are clubs where you can stay dressed, and clubs where you 'dress down' as soon as you arrive. These are usually towels/ shorts for guys and lingerie/ sexy skimpy outfits for women.

Hehe liberated me no ,I'm not a swinger I'm of the feeling that true " swingers " can only be couples and that's why guys pay more to get into clubs the clubs were created by couples who need to use single men and women but times have moved on

Despite being on another site prior to this. It was FAB that opened up my mind and let me see a whole other world.

I've never thought of myself as being anything guys wanted other than someone to rant to about their girlfriends because of the tomboy side of me

Thanks to FAB & every guy I've met off here and the couples. I now see myself in a different light.

I always thought I was fat

I've now been convinced by others than I'm curvy yes I have still lost 2stone in weight since starting on Fab, but that was for health reasons and i still have enough flab on me that the guys have all said they liked.

I find I feel sexy in some clothes I wear and although I will never feel that way naked. I do appreciate some parts of my nakedness that I didn't before

I have found.clothes that I like to wear that I previously believed only looked good on (skinny) people.

I always thought guys wouldn't wanna do some positions because of my size and weight, I have been shown otherwise and found I quite like stuff

FAB has shown me that I can enjoy sex and social sides as well as sexual sides

It has shown me that it can be anything from turn up get naked fuck and leave,to having long lasting friendships, it has shown me that I can experiment if I feel right about the guys

It has also shown me that it is MY choice, MY pace, its what I can make of it

I love fab and everything that it and the people I have met have given me

I will be grateful for eternity

On my 1st club visit I just dived in with the attitude of ~ there will be people of all different shapes / sizes / looks & personalities ~ some will be better, others equal to mine.

Having fun whilst I was there seemed to the best way to get over any insecurities I may have had.

Swinging has helped both of us with both body and personality confidence .

Very rarely have we felt uncomfortable , and upon meeting people of all ages and sizes , we have been accepted for what and who we are .

What we have found is no matter how perfect and attractive the people we meet are , they have all found something about us which is equally as attractive . Something we never expected , nor do we presume this to always be the case . But so far so good .

Everyone we have met and played with have shown how wonderfully liberating the lifestyle is , and how it can make you feel good about yourself .

Look at yourself through the eyes of those that value, appreciate, admire and lust after you and your going in the right direction.

Compare or look at yourself through the eyes of the advertisers, the marketeers, the media, the airbrush pic brigade etc and your coming from the wrong direction.

Regardless of swinging many many females are sexier than they think or realise in the face of the how they should be/look battering they get off the aforementioned advertisers etc.

As for liberated yes slightly. Although I was quite sexually liberated already hence I ended up swinging. Not a pre requisite of course.

The main thing I realise is the amount of people I've crossed paths with in person and not in person. Without swinging I probably probably wouldn't have come across with such people, characters & persona's socially or sexually in my entire life.

On the whole 99% in person have been diamond's and a massive pleasure. The 1% is just a case of the reality thats 'not everyone is for everyone'.

In contrast there's also the awareness of the strange un's online that take advantage of the fact they're behind the keys. Their ways, techniques and penchants & hunger for what they do. Strange un's that certainly wouldnt do what they do if it was in person Beyond a lifetimes worth but they make for a good reality check comparison at times

Try La Chambre in Sheffield, that's quite close to you, I think. Saturday's are for couples-only, and you can stay dressed unless/until you are ready to go into one of the open playrooms.
