So we discovered cam on here this week.... And much to our surprise loved it and happily put on a show.. Fab account gone mad.... But how safe is it? Can people video you playing? X

Yes. Normally webcam vids end up on sites like xhamster and pornhub etc

You can't tell from your end unfortunately no.

There's plenty of screen recording softwares available for both windows and Mac.

It is very easy to record a video in chat, all it takes is a free software download and off they go.

Very easy ; even if the video is on a site that says it protects it from copying ( I don't know if fab does).

It is very easy to download programmes that can capture video and save it.

Sadly if you don't want to run the risk of your cam session being uploaded to a pornhub style site - don't cam - or at least take steps to hide your identity while camming.

As others have said there are numerous programs that allow people to record your cam and there is no way you will know about it or even be able to stop it.

I have a programme that can record any video from any site no matter how much encryption it has. But I dont cam or watch cams so your safe from me, just reinforcing the point that it is out there.

the minute u broadcast its there...nobody needs fancy software either...you could even just use ur mobile..

if worried always make sure face is covered..or wear a mask lol

Several several years ago a woman simply had a camera pointed at her computer recording the screen. When I asked her what a red dot was, she open told me it was a camera. It is reasonably obvious though that if you are going to get your kit off and show show the world your bits. I was just chatting to her face to face.

To be fair, you don't even have to have your camera turned on. You can still be recorded with the camera off.

We do play on camera but don't tend to show our faces.

There is so much porn out there though if on the rare chance you were recorded, it's unlikely anyone you know will see it unless you have some fame already.
