Just after some advice,its my last day tomorrow at a job i'm at, been told off 3 times by a team leader. But alot of things are messed up anyway saying main stock instead of shop floor.

She actually bullied me one day saying don't i understand then made a snide comment which i ignored.

I got told off again then told its my final warning, i have seen a document on her bench with my name on it complaining about me. All the staff can see it and its been there for 3 days.

Another member got told off but nothing else happened its like she wants to get me fired. I spoke to another member of staff he said alot just let it go over their heads and i should have a word with the operations manager.

Wondering if i should make a complaint about her its like shes making out i can't do my job. Or should i just ignore her tomorrow only got a 6 hour shift.?

I usually ignore people like her but she has gotten away with it loads of times.

Why are you leaving?

To leave it to the last day may come across a bit petty, but if you truly believe you have been bullied, then report.

Have you written down all the issues, be structured if you see the operations manager and specific

If you have nothing to lose report her

She will push potentially good staff away because she thinks she can rule the roost

If you have been given a final warning it 'Must' be issued both verbally and in writing, if not just ignore it .....

Personally I'd complain and let Her know she is a bully. Makes no difference you ate leaving ppl need to know about her bullying.

There is a bully at work and she is the reason so many ppl have left. I have you started writing all her bullying in the accident book so there are records of her actions.

I would write to her manager and copy other people in explaining the reason why you're leaving is because of bullying and list examples and dates and witnesses.

If you have been given a warning of any sort, then HR must have been involved at some point, as they can only be issued after a disciplinary hearing and notes taken, signed off and given a chance to appeal if you disagreed with the hearing.

I'm a temp, i remember everything she has done even my friends say shes bullied me. I'm the type who just gets on with it so its most proberly why shes targeted me.

Complain about her definitely. And make it known you'd like back up complaints from anyone who has witnessed her bullying.

Bullies always choose the one that won't speak up .speak up and make sure it's put on her record before you leave .you will feel better .

I would pull her up on it. Have a quiet word. Tell her you plan to take it further.

I did this when my manager acted inappropiately. She blamed me for a mistake she made. First I knew was when a colleague told me.

So I confronted her. Said if I had of made a mistake ( and I believed I hadn't) then I should at least be informed by her, not someone junior to me. And that she needed to work on her communication and interpersonal skills.

Also had issues when I had very personal things happen in my prvate life. Told her in confidence as she should being my manager, but she told everyone about it.

She also refused me time off for a medical procedure. And when I lost a relative she was told by the powers that be to ring me to and offer me time off

She didn't. When question she told the higher power that I wanted to work.

I formally complained. She got sacked. I got promoted into her role. Which kind of sucks to be honest, because I know she will say I did it to get her job. Nothibg could be further from the truth.

Glad I spoke out. Sometime you feel like you're imaging it. But really, please speak up. It may be you stop her from doing it to someone else.

simply because you are leaving doesn't mean they won't investigate the matter. It may fall into a grey area though with you being a temp - I dont know if you mean you are on a temp contract or are there through an agency. If it's an agency, let them know. Otherwise speak to the operations manager and formally put something in writing with your name and address on it otherwise they will dismiss the allegations as 'we talked it through'. You will not get an outcome or an outcome to appeal against. Putting it in writing, they will have to give you an outcome.

Verbal warning first ,then written Hr must be present after that .what have you got to lose say you want to have a chat , Say you feel you have been singled out and she what she says say you dont want to take this this further ,if you can not resolve this .

My apologies I couldn't reply to you in a pm - Firstly being temporary you should not feel or be treat ANY different to people with a " fixed contract" I use that term loosely . Your team leader has/ is behaving very unprofessionally - you've said in your OP that she has told you off ,,, I don't know of any company that doesn't have a formal grievance procedure that doesn't give you the right to speak up / appeal formally ,, I hope that your not leaving because of her bullying - I do urge you to contact a union ( attached to your line of work) or the HR department ,,, they must be informed , in my last job I was a rep and made know difference really if the peeps were members or not they still got the same advice even if we could not represent them formally I could still be there with my work colleague / friend hat on ,,, this bully must be stopped ( as for her leaving confidential papers for anyone to see - that in itself is gross misconduct - note times dates , witness' it's not too late ,,,, I wish you all the luck in your new job but please don't leave without having your say formally x

Thank you. You do need to take charge in life. And I will fight for anyone who needs it.

If anything I took positives out of the experience. Made me see how not to be, the girls who are in my team are fab! They work hard and are motivated. Theyknow I will help them through, and support them in their roles. So they work with confidence. Trouble is some managers think that being a manager is telling people what to do and and having power over someone.

Whereas I think that managers should empower, let people take ownership, it nurtures pride in their work. I'm proud of my girls. Yes I can pull people when it's needed. But it has to be justified,with evidence and it has to be constructive.

Too many people sit back and take crap from their bosses. I don't see why managers can't be challenged by their employees over their actions.

Everyone regardless of whether they clean the bog or are a CEO. Deserve to be listened too and feel their opinions are valid.

I had a manager who's first words on meeting his new workforce was " if I could sack the lot of you I would "

Six months later he and I were toe to toe in the directors office, and I was calling him a liar and a bastard to his face.....he walked away..... Funny thing is I now get along with him quite well.
