Haven't they got better things to do? Don't really know what law doggers would be breaking unless there have been complaints

You would be classed as flashing and depending on what you were doing you would be charged under a sexual charge probably leading to you being put on the register

Let's face it sex outside is illegal of you do it you take the risk of being caught

Isn't that the buzz knowing you could be caught or being watched

The police have limited resources.

So have people caused trouble while dogging?

Even just leaving condoms etc can cause offence, leading to complaints so the police are probably under pressure to be seen to be doing something

Once we met a policeman who was partial to a bit of dogging, shame he never did it in uniform in public though. At our house a different story.

Sex outside is not and never has been illegal in the UK.

That is why no one has ever been charged with having sex outside, there is nothing in law that explicitly prohibits having sex outdoors, as long as you are not causing alarm, harassment or distress to a member of the public.

In other words if you are dogging in a secluded location you will be ok but if you are dogging where the public normally pass by you are asking for trouble

Well there are probably very few places where the public don't actually pass - I know a spot in some woods where dog walkers have complained and even though it's secluded and away from the public footpath the police have taken an interest and put notices up about 'unsociable behaviour'

I even had a policemen pursue me once on foot in the same area asking what I was doing there and did I know what went on there? I said that I was going for a walk - there was no one else about. I couldn't believe with the level of crime which is evident in all parts of the country that they could waste time checking up on one individual who was going for a walk in the woods. Are they so desperate to improve their figures that they have to speak to one individual out on his own with no one else in sight. I felt like making a complaint, but it probably wouldn't have got me very far.

I know people enjoy dogging, but I'm sure there would be times when even the most doggiest dogger who ever dogged would find it inappropriate.

People have mentioned dog walkers, in this festive period, what if you were walking your dog with your parents, or children for a change?
