Does anyone else share my view? If a profile has been active for say a year, or maybe even six months and had no meets or verifications the profile should be automatically deleted. To us an unverified profile just screams fake. We've all got start somewhere so it stands to reason that you're going to be unverified for a short time. Auto delete after a fixed term would free up space and save time for genuine swingers.

There's nothing on this site that says you have to meet. Some people are happy to use the forums to chat about the scene, and do their meeting in person.

no I don't share that view I had 6 veris but 5 women left and I'm not into veris anyway I see them as notches ,some I've met who would verify me were not asked and visa versa

It should be different for different 'categories':

Females: 1 week

TV/TS: 2 weeks

Couples: 1 month

Males: 2 years

Nope...but I do think if an account has been dormant for over a year, it should be deleted. It will automatically clear out a lot of peoples block bins. Save having to do a clean up of Ctrl&F to search 9 months and over. This is one of the many reasons why I no longer support. I have to conduct my own fecking admin. .

I don't see an issue. Use your filters. Some people aren't here to meet, but should they not be on the site? (for example, keeping in touch with friends, checking out photos, etc.)

Not to mention that some guys have a hard time getting a meet. Our first meet with a guy off here was with a guy who was unverified for over a year. It was a great meet.

No I don't agree I've met many people at clubs here for over 6months or a year

and have verified them, they are not always fakes.Just avoid unverified out of your own personal choice

some sign up and don't meet for ages, or go and come back

I get your point but not all of us collect verifications, and a another point, i travel a lot and dont have the time to be on 24/7, and i think most will agree its quality not how many u been with (yes that old chestnut)

I think I went 3 years without verification lol.

I used the site sporadically just to chat in the chat rooms where I would be found entertaining the room and generally just having a chat.

I made some great friends this way and as I was married,wasnt common knowledge here,I never arranged meets so couldn't be verified.

April this year saw me single after 20yrs so by about August I started actively using fab and had a couple of meets but didn't get verified till about the fourth one.

Until then I couldn't verify the people I had met either

If somebody just wants to perve all they need to do is join the site, it's free and very easy. As soon as you put a picture on the net it will be looked at, you can't control by who.

Men do pretend to be couples or women to get involved in dirty talk and set up meets but I'm not sure how that can be stopped but they're pretty easy to spot.

Just block unverified profiles from contacting.

Like many I get you on the not being verfied for months/years. There are some who simply aint here to meet, just chat and their up front about that.

However it doesn't tak a wizard to spot suspects and their 24-7 meet tonights & daily status updates about last nights or tonights amazing meet Yet months/years no further veris if any veri's at all. An easy go figure moment

Or deleted if they do not have 15 meets per hour, anything less than that is just not swinging

Indeed....I had a meet yesterday with a newbie lady. She is finding her feet and wishes to take things slowly, not drawing attention to herself so she can pick and choose her meets as and when and also dictate the pace.

We got on really well and have arranged to meet again. However I asked if she wanted me to verify her or not...we decided that no verifications would take place (she can't unless I do first anyway). So that's how it will stay. She remains unverified...but is nevertheless genuine.

But it's a big no to suggest that people on a swinging site should meet .

Quite why I still don't know , perhaps I never will .

But that's how it is with the fab forums , may as well accept that swingers don't have to meet to be on here and crack on doing what you're doing

I pay for it primarily for the messaging history and the ability to see more than one cam.

If you're not getting anything useful out of it, then just let it run out. Seems like the easiest option.

Despite the name of the site, fab is more about sex than it is about "swinging." That's what I've come to realize. So if people want to create accounts in order to jack off to people's public pics and never meet, I don't see an issue. Or if they just want to wank off in the cam chat rooms. Or if they want to have sexting chats. All of these are things related to sex, that fab caters to, and which are unlikely to get you verifications.

I guess I just don't see the problem, even though I do use it to meet on a regular basis.

I find fake profiles the most tiresome thing. I'm not into chatting. But it's the only way to get the measure of someone for us. To waste 20 messages on a couple who turns out to be a guy putting on pictures of his ex is what is call a waste of my time.

I honestly think it might be a regional thing too. As a single bloke I did ok. Partly because of who/how I am, partly because Leeds/Bradford/Halifax/Huddersfield is a hotbed of filth. Lol. Funny and true.

Some people use fab just for chatting so don't need to be verified. I don't think it's a lack of space - just an improvement in selection that will make the issue of 'fakes' and 'time wasters' and 'not genuine' etc etc a non issue.

Beside ID, the limited number of clubs I have been in have asked for my fab profile. I am pretty sure if you go to any club regulalry you'd stumble across someone who would be willing to verify you. For sure. But for instance, I generally don't give out my usernames to clubs or people at clubs. Generally those people have no need for that info. My partner is the same, he almost never gives out his usernames to people online. He just tells them that he can't remember it.

I think some people should worry less about how other people run their profiles and simply get on with running their own.

I'd also like to know how this would free up space and save time for genuine swingers.

I'd also like to know how to spot genuine swingers. Do you use one of those blue lights like they do in shops to spot dodgy fivers?

They might just be on here for forums or to chat, me personally i say thanks but no thanks as they aren't meeters, even men can get verifications by attending a social event, anyone genuine shouldn't really have an issue at attending a group social in a pub

A few single fems and lets say, those fems being discrete on here ,to which I have chatted to, stated they dont want verifications.. ..it's horses for courses.

. Why would anyone worry. about verifications . Surely what matters is the content of the profile and members having enough common sense to take a realistic view of a profile .

I don't think that these so called fakes would go to the bother of writing a detailed profile .

In any event fakes have no impact on other members as you simply ignore them.

What matters is how you market yourself , not what others have in their profiles .

Absolutely not and thats not fare. I have been on this site for about 6 months now and have yet to meet anyone yet. I have had plenty of conversations but have yet to arrange a meet face to face.

Unlike so many men, women and couples on here who get inundated with messages for meets, I am one of those who doesn't.

I for one will be extremely peed off if I was to get removed for being unlucky. It's not through lack of trying, I'm just not appealing enough

I disagree with the statement of them being fake. My bf had a single profile on here and took 6 months for him to get a meet. Sometimes cab take single guys longer. Doesn't mean they are fake profiles. I do agree there are a number of fake ones out there and we have had our fair share x

That was what I initially did. Set the profile up, got into a new relationship, moved closer to Birmingham and therefore nearer to clubs than where I was before... and so didn't need Fab. Now it's nice to hang out here to see what's going on.

Personally if we get approached for a meet by a couple or a female who have been members for say 6 months plus without being verified we will be suspicious.

It is different with single guys as we recognise the difficulties they encounter.

If however a couple or female are not verified within 6 months then I think it is only sensible to ask:

a) are they fake?

b) are they only members to chat?

c) are they struggling with nerves & never likely to meet.

If you don't check these points out satisfactorily then don't bother posting a complaint the next time a "timewaster" topic is posted in the forums.

I have had a great meet with a man who was unverified for over a year. He had joined and then forgot about it. His profile was quite sparse, no profile pictures but his initial message was good with pictures. I gave him the benefit of doubt and had fun.

We have met plenty of people in Liberty Elite before who aren't on here or who didn't verify us and we didn't them, doesn't make either party fake. Plus, seems a bit unfair on those who chose not to meet for a while - such as us through pregnancy and following months - or through circumstances outside their control.

Two equally attractive profiles. The first has been a member for 12 months but remains unverified. The second is soundly verified.

Why would anyone choose to accept the additional risk of a let down by arranging a meet with an unverified person?

If you are desperate for a meet, any meet then you might be prepared to take the chance.

Frankly however there are more sexy, attractive and fully verified members on fab than we could hope to meet in two lifetimes so why bother.

Undeniably however in the vast majority of cases the explanations are more sinister. They are fakes or fantasists who will talk a good game without any intention to meet.

"This site is getting worse with timewasters..... Fab needs to do something as lots of genuine people are leaving. Introduce better filters so the real people can enjoy swinging and the many fakes can chat to just themselves. A year with no pics and no veris and a online profile shows contemp and that them people are just here to perv.... Put a symbol by these kinds of profiles so we can all avoid them.... And don't give in to the bull that the people have high profile jobs etc.... SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ADMIN !!

You mean like say giving you a filter to block people without pictures or. unverified people?

Oh wait those filters are already here.

I notice most of the people complaining about time wasters seem to be the ones too dim to have read the whole list of filters.

It's not that they're dim, it's just so much easier to open a ranty thread and write 500 words of whining and whingeing than it is to press a filter button.

The filters block all unverified members from contacting us - whether new members or not. At one point we were unverified ourselves.

Our suspicions are directed mainly at those people who explain on their profile about how wild and kinky they are but remain unverified month after month after year.

If the filter allowed us to block only those who remain unverified after say 6 months then that would be great.

But it doesn't.

I've been here a long while, met several people for socials but I'm still unverified.

It may scream fake to you but I'm genuine so No. Auto delete just to satisfy you and others who jump to conclusions would not be good and isn't necessary.

There are filters available for your use to make the site work for you.

Concentrate on your own use of the site and leave everyone to worry about theirs.

Would you not be better concentrating on your own lives rather than worrying about what others do with theirs?

"I don't see an issue. Use your filters. Some people aren't here to meet, but should they not be on the site? (for example, keeping in touch with friends, checking out photos, etc.)

Not to mention that some guys have a hard time getting a meet. Our first meet with a guy off here was with a guy who was unverified for over a year. It was a great meet.

Good point and I've lost count of the number of times I've said the same as you guys on the forums .

But it's a big no to suggest that people on a swinging site should meet .

Quite why I still don't know , perhaps I never will .

But that's how it is with the fab forums , may as well accept that swingers don't have to meet to be on here and crack on doing what you're doing

If you are desperate for a meet, any meet then you might be prepared to take the chance.

Frankly however there are more sexy, attractive and fully verified members on fab than we could hope to meet in two lifetimes so why bother.
