club reviews

Anyone believe them? We have been to two clubs with loads of really good reviews, which were empty (on a w/e) when we went.

Sometimes suspect that reviews are posted by owners, or am I being suspicious?

Yes you're being suspiscious

Thats not to say that friends don't also post reviews as I have done the same with my friends club.....but I gave a club review that was just how I saw it and nothing more than that

We have found that clubs vary greatly on different nights and at different times of the month sometimes they're packed and sometimes they're not

I would'nt believe everything I read about a club though, what some people like others won't so we prefer to make our own minds up and visit ourselves

Club reviews should be subjective. Sometimes people are totally honest. other people may give their friends better reveiws than maybe they deserve. others still may give damning reviews to clubs run by their friends alleged rivals. it can and does happen and we've seen it. so we don't take alot of notice of reviews. we pays our money and we takes our chances!

I would always be honest with my review. Have my local club that I love but also would say if I wasnt happy about it and also visit other clubs if I can so when I go back to my local its like coming home again lol

I hope you mean "Club reviews should be objective"

It's difficult to be wholly objective in reviewing anything but the reviewer should at least try.

Ahem.

Club reviews are subjective.

If you went to a club, had a nice time and got what you wanted, you'd probably give it a good review.

But going on a different night with different people there you might not have such a good time, and review it accordingly.

And, just because person/couple A had a good/bad time does not mean that person/couple B will or won't like it.

So it's entirely subjective.

You'd all be better off shagging me.

(which from my point of view is objective, but from your point of view is subjective)

((at least I managed to type it this time))

I need to write one for Chams... I really should pull my finger out and do it. We went to bi night and had a good time. Not sure if they're planning to put the review on their site or on the other site I use but either way... it'll be written by me, as a member.

I won't leave out that it wasn't particularly busy or that certain parts weren't open when we were there because to me that's the whole point of a review. However, it is subjective, not everyone who goes would be interested in the cinema room or the jacuzzi, we were just a little disappointed cause it was something we'd talked about prior to going.

So no... I think quite often reviews are written by random visitors rather than by the owners of the clubs.

The thing with clubs(chams) no two nights are the same depending on what people are in there and what you make of the experience but always guarenteed a great atmosphere and buzz in the air. I have had the best nights when it has been less busy more space to play lol. And I think with clubs you have to wait for that eureka moment when you think fuck me did that really happen. And when it does you will be back for more and will become very addictive.

Agree with all that has been said - perceptions of a club are subjective depending what you like. For example, we like chams and not xtasia, but I can see why Xstasia ia popular and I would not knock it.

What I was really referring to was reviews, normally starting with 'another great night at........' for clubs which are objectivly poor. We went to one which was cold, dirty, smokey and very small with a grand total of 3 people there (2 of whom were us). I defy anyone to say that it is any good. And that was a sat night

clubs like everywhere can be hit and miss ,some weekends it can be busy some weekends quiet a lot of people dont have the finances to go to a club every week,so if a club is empty it doesnt mean its a bad club, there can be all sorts of reasons its empty like there could have been a party days earlier and people may have spent up,

i suggest to anybody going to a new club to check the listings for meets and events and if for instance there was a party on a friday night then dont go on a saturday afternoon expecting it to be busy, also ask other members when the best times to go are dont just go on a random day expecting it to be heaving as you would be lucky if it was,

thats not about any club inparticular its just clubs in general x

I check reviews on four particular clubs quite often. One especially stands out for deleting negative reviews, and im quite gutted i cant name and shame it. The negative reviews are there one day and suspiciously on numerous occasions gone the next. This has also happened with two of the other clubs, but only on the odd occasion. My advice is to take the reviews with a pinch of salt.

Always makes me wonder how clubs manage to get rid of/delete negative reviews?!

In your bed

Swinging Clubs are very people centred. The place can be the best swinging club in the world but if on that particular night you have an ass hole who will not leave you alone and has had too much to drink and will not respect bondaries and expects any woman to be grateful for him flopping his cock near by. Well lets face it, it's not going to get a good review.

Then again a dive on a really good night with friendly people where you may play with serveral couples and make good friends that last a long time. Well it's going to get a good review.

When we have reviewed we have tried to take out sexual experience out of it and just review the club and staff as the sex will vary from visit to visit. Depending on how others shape up and how we appeal to others.

For example we've been to partners and La Chambre loved them both al though La Chambre is our fav.

1st time at partners we went couples only, great night. 2nd time went on a night with single guys, the trail of watchers did not do it for us.

1st time at Lachambre played with 3 brill couples, we wish we had made better contact with them. 2nd time the missus was pregnant and we just did not appeal to the other couples as much as we did that first night and blatently put some right off as they where shocked to see a preg woman swinging.

3rd time even more heavily pregnant 2 months to go etc and meet a great couple and have some fun on the bed.

Club reviews are good in that they give you the confidence to give it a try. But everything else is down to the people who attend. IMHO!

We find that club reviews give you at least a flavour of the club and how people have found it, but we still like to visit and make our own minds up.

The other thing to bear in mind with reviews is that we're all different and like different things, so what may appeal about a club to some may not appeal to others. Another thing that can colour a review is the reviewers prior perception or expectations of what a club may be like, which may affect their positve/negative review of it.

On the point of busy/quiet clubs no two nights are ever the same, and indeed you can go the same day on consecutive weeks and it can be totally different from one week to the next, often without any apparent reason.

yes i believe them, lets face it a club isnt good depending on how packed full of people it is! I imagine all clubs have busy and equally quiet nights. I'd look for a club with lots of reviews, the owner cant have posted all of them!!!

Good luck next time
