How long to you leave it before you block someone who has read your message and not replied?

There's been times where eve read a message but then got distracted and it's been days before I've got back to it.

I have a huge block list this is because i dont want to hassel any one that is not interested in me.

So if i get a no not type reply i will block.

Or if i look at a profile which really does not do it for me then i block it.

It makes my life easier when hunting lol.

But if i do not get a reply i may send another message in no fewer than few weeks and if its read and not replyed then it will be a block.

I find being blocked says more about the person that blocks than it does about the recipient.

I can understand why people block, presumably due to their previous experiences, but it shows a wee lack of class in my opinion.

Just don't reply to the message or say "no thanks"?

Sometimes after messaging a while, it goes cold. So I say thanks, good luck and block.

I delete all my sent messages so don't check... but use the private notes when I initiate contact. If I go to message someone, see I've messaged before and no follow up note, it's obvious they aren't interested so I would block then to avoid hassling anyone.

I've read messages and,for whatever the reason I haven't had the time to reply soon after reading.

Tied up with work, called away from pc,illness and, offline for a while.

As with most of us,it doesn't make us bad people? that warrant blocking.

I find the whole block a bit controlling and silly as what you fancy one day is not what you want the next

It's also pointless as most people have two accounts anyway

If I look at a girl or couple and am blocked by them I think . They know me I wonder who they are and quickly go on and have a look

also when you are not a sofa swinger and meet people and swap fab names it saves the oh I can't find you.

That's how I use the site. If I'm in the mood I'll message them. If they are, they message me. If we're both available then we arrange something.

"We love blocking timewasters or unsuitable people.

How long to you leave it before you block someone who has read your message and not replied?

*please note we leave some time so both partners can read message xx

I find the whole block a bit controlling and silly as what you fancy one day is not what you want the next

It's also pointless as most people have two accounts anyway

If I look at a girl or couple and am blocked by them I think . They know me I wonder who they are and quickly go on and have a look

also when you are not a sofa swinger and meet people and swap fab names it saves the oh I can't find you.

I know what your saying, but would you want to be contacted by someone who had ignored you for two months and decided to contact you because their bored one day? Xx"

I do it all the time it's no big deal .

I don't use this type of lifestyle for friendship

If they were a friend in my friends Facebook rather than my causal acquaintances Facebook then it would be different

Should I send myself a message not reply and block the op just to be on the safe side ?

How do you 'have a look' when your blocked?

Generally we'll only block if someone keeps messaging us. It gets a little tedious saying 'no thanks' over and over again to the same person.

Why block ?

This is suppose to be a sex dating site not membership to the local golf course.

I find the blockers are usually the ones who never meet, or chat, want to become friend then block.

I only block offensive messengers, otherwise just move on and find the real member of here who do want to enjoy the site rather than playing silly games, like blocking because you do not reply in 1 seconds etc.

I don't.

It just seems mean.

A lot of negativity for no reason really.

Seems like an ego trip 'you weren't fast enough replying to us'

seems a bit up ones own bottom

I never block people that don't reply to me. Don't see the point.

Someone did that to myself and my partner this week. We were having a chat, he asked us a question, we were waiting until we had the time to discuss it - i.e. the next day, and when we'd discussed it and gone back to him later to say 'yes, when can we meet?' he'd already blocked us.

Dick.

I only use the block facility if someone hasn't read our profile properly or they come across as irritating on the forums.

"Lots of single chaps jumping on the offensive here. Forum regulars know what a ball ache women and couples have with messages, from a handful a day to the princesses who get hundreds. It's a filter.

I'm no bombarded hotty but get enough to get trigger happy with it on occasion.

However, I'd never block if someone hasn't replied. Might change my mind later down the line...

What would make you change your mind? Xx"

Mood and timing. There are days when I have time to consider someone's profile, days when I feel shitty and others where I simply scan and delete.

I've had a few reappear and I've felt differently.

"We don't block for a non-reply as we don't reply to all messages ourselves.

Why not? Xx"

Have you seen the inbox of a tgirl? Believe me, there are not enough hours in the day.

I don't think most people have two accounts

I think that's more just the creepy stalker types.
