Blocked but no offence intended

Jump to newest

We have made the decision to start blocking people that don't fit what we are looking for or that we would not like to meet. We do not intend to cause any offence by this but figure that it's the easiest way to narrow down and better target those that would be a preferred meet. Does anyone else do this?

Please know that if we have blocked you, it's nothing personal, we are just here to arrange meets, Facebook is for socialising.

The features are available to use as you wish I don't see an issue with it.

I think it's up to you how you use the feature

You don't have to explain yourself

I don't see any real reason to block someone, ignoring works equally well and is less time- consuming

Same here.

It's a site tool to be used to help you run your profile.

Happy hunting.

We don't go through the site, but we do block those who contact us and have not read our profile and are not for us.

I don't mass block people, I just couldn't be bothered with that. I just don't reply to emails if I don't want to interact with them.

Yep - just helps with the filtering process.

Titz Towers, North Notts

I've blocked a load of people who live close to me. It's just easier than replying to a couple of messages a day requesting meets and having to explain they are too close and no I don't want to drive 30 minutes to a distant layby and so on

Block em, don't block em, it's up to you how you make the site work for you. I just set every filter so they can't contact me.

I rarely block based on just a profile unless it's bareback. Even then im likely to make a private note. I block the majority from forum posts. That's how I use the site

We use the block tool the same too. How other people interpret that is down to them, you can't do anything about it, so don't worry about it.

Agree with many, block those that are not in criteria and also very local people who we have no wish to run into in course of normal life. Just blocked a straight guy who made me blush with what he wanted me to do to him while Kitty was watching( )

We don't trawl the site looking for people to block but as many have said, those that show interest or contact us that are not suitable, "SOMETIMES" we will block

block's a block really, think the important thing for people like me to remember is not to take it personally/to heart and just leave it be at that..

also I don't really message people much except if we have prior conversation with one another.

I do exactly the same...way I see it, it's just a way of tailoring the site for your preferences. Plus there was one woman who'd post a different object inside her daily, I don't wanna see that on the updates page.

I only block if I find a face unattractive, someone annoys me or wastes my time.

I know others that block because of stupid things like fat or not manly looking but since I used to me 16 plus stone of flub in my early 20's and now I'm... Not those things don't bother me.

I very rarely block someone. Usually a courteous reply saying thanks for the interest but prefer not to pursue this does the trick.

Don't see the point in apologising for using a site tool. Don't see the point of wasting time on preemptive blocking either...but as all things: each to their own!
