I have an old Nikon D40 and need a new battery

Anyone know where I can find a cheap one please

Try ebay or amazon, as i have a dslr nikon d3200 24mp. An find stuff cheap on ebay. As photography

accessories for nikon or cannon can be expensive

Amazon actually, so wind your neck in and go be negative on someone else's post because you probably wouldn't have the clout to say it face to face...

I'll rewrite to make you 'happy'

are the cheaper options on the likes of amazon and ebay reliable compared to the branded goods from a photography shop?

Is that good enough to not be a 'google' job you picky fucker

dont rise to it he probably dont understand about photography ive into digital photography 10 years an i have brought a few accessories from ebay when i had my first dslr nikon d80 i had a flash gun , sdhc cards. Spare batteries cheaper than nikon

i even buy from ebay my sdhc cards high end transfer rate 80 ultra cards.

As with all batteries, cameras phones whatever, the non branded stuff will obviously be cheaper but not as good quality

i have brought official nikon accessories cheaper on ebay.ie like an sdhc card 8gb sandisk ultra an transfer rate of 80mb cheaper than in the shops on ebay an it is a branded item

I use a duracell as a backup to my nikon with no issues charge doesn't last quite as long but it's pretty close
