Why so few young swingers?

I'm pretty new to this 'lifestyle' but I do wonder why there are there so few young swingers?

Lack of awareness of the lifestyle, put off by older members - Id love to know your thoughts!

I do of course refer to single women and young couples. I can imagine there's quite a lot of single guys looking for a quick lay!

We would imagine because younger people are generally in relationships for the first times and maybe don't feel as confident? It's also a massive step for anyone. Just have to consider ourselves lucky we all took the naughty plunge!

Or we could be completely wrong

There are countless single men looking for a quick lay and almost as many not finding it .

I think there are plenty of single (or not) young guys on fab because it is ok for them to be open about sex. As for single (or not) young women, well, I know when I was young and single that I was (1) more interested in a relationship, (2) worried about my safety, and (3) not confident that I had sexual freedom.

As for couples, we are finding more and more young couples in clubs and on here. There are not as many as the older crowd, true, but I think that has a lot to do with being in settled relationships, being secure enough to share something like this, and maybe even just not knowing that it is an option (I didn't know until Marc told me )

That's just my thoughts on it, anyway.

We've been in and out for about 5 years - there has always been young people around.

However paying £40+ for clubs/event entry plus travel, hotels etc is expensive and you can find similar fun going out into town and private parties for a fraction of the cost

Swinging is not exclusive to any age - but you find more older people with use clubs and they usually have more disposable income.

We went to a swingers night at the townhouse and it was like a school prom, it was commented on that swinging is becoming a young persons scene, but it was also commented upon that young people shouldn't join the swinging scene as they haven't experienced enough 'life lessons' to take the swinging scene seriously. Swinging does tend to be a 40's plus scene which I like, we would feel somewhat out of place in a club full of 20 year olds

Simply not the case , as we said we have met plenty of young swingers . Couples , guys and single females ..

I guess it just depends on whether one is proactive or not ....

There's not mine young men who know about this also I am 25 and I found about this site off a friend there is still a high character rate who want to experience this in there lifes because its just something they drawn to and not only that they try and hide sites but I just make it hard to find

the basic premise of swinging is a couple ,couples spicing up their sex lives with others and we are the others

We started swinging in our 20 started going to lachambre and you use to get lots of older people we use to look at them and think what are they doing swinging at there age lol but now it's our turn young once will look at us and thing like we did well not all but you do get them ??
