was hoping to get a bit of feedback on what guys think about single fem profiles , i have not been a member long, but some of the mail i have received has left me downright puzzled and a bit miffed to be honest , so, guys...do ye think that when you see a fem profile that ye just throw out the most bizarre requests ever and hope for a bite? or are there a lot of very strange folk on here altogether ...lol

I think you'll find that the kind of mail you'll receive will not vary greatly no matter how detailed or sparse your profile is.

Every girl I know on here spends most of her time ignoring, deleted and then blocking emails from areseholes.

One you've done that, you can move up to the quality end of the spectrum and chat to someone like me.

I'm way above the arsehole level.

I'm easily at 'idiot'.

Be specific about what you seek and don't apologise for that in any way.

It is your body and it is about your fun, you are choosing to share with someone for no strings sex/friendships.

Keep your feet on the ground as you will be overwhelmed with attention and never lose the 'superficialness' of it all at times.

and never start to believe your own hype xx

One good tip is have in the middle of your profile "i will only answer emails with ***** in the title". Makes it easier to delete the people who dont read it to start with lol

alot of men here will just see single woman,and rattle off an email,,,same with couples where the male does the typing,its a spur of the moment thing,but rude emails,well there just not exceptable,i mean the ones that have no introduction,just straight in,,,

we would never send a single girl/couple that type of mail,unless we had actually met them and had fun,but then there is the odd exception,(you know who you are,lol),,,

anyway,just put a pad on your finger and keep hitting delete till you get a good irish lad for fun,lol

My experience of single women profiles so far. has been mainly friend invites with no message.

I check the profile, and there is basically nothing on it. So I just delete putting it down to somebody wanting to see me private photo gallery.

There are what I call the "wo"man profiles (men pretending to be women). The messages from some of them are so obviously not from women, I have been on this planet long enough now to know the difference.

. Also no photos, never met anybody and hidden friends list on their profile, tells you a lot.

I have seen a members profile recently that had taken another profile out to verify a personal meeting, it was the same mobile number on both profiles that gave him away.

I feel you have to do you homework with a female profile.

If I sound cynical its because I am with anything that internet based.

I would hazard a guess and say about only 10% of female profiles on here and other sites are a real female.

i think you'll just find that most people dont read profiles

some of the messages i get are just stupid, my profile clearly says what im after yet i still get messages from couples, men out of my age range, men asking if they can come here etc, its not that they stupid its just that they dont read profiles

I can't comment on all female profiles as they're as varied as all others, but for one yours doesn't strike me as a made up one as a fem profile made up by a bloke tends to get straight into explicit filth in the hope of acting like a trawlers net. Mainly because the joker responsible wants to get as many replies and as much attention as possible rather than attracting a certain type of man who they obviously don't have any intention of meeting anyway.

In terms of general female profiles my favourite to read would be one thats well written, articulate, definite in what the lady wants, with a slight undercurrent of imaginative filth...but thats only my personal preference and by no means representative of every single guy!

I always read female profiles and personally there is virtually no profiles I can send a message to being married, 57 yrs old and not prepared to drive hundreds of miles.

So it once in a blue moon I send messages out. If I do I am polite and non-sexual with that first message. I don't walk up to women in real life and say "lets fuck"

So why should I on here?

The point I am trying to get over is a lot of men don't read profiles and probably "carpet bomb" female and couples profiles with a cut and pasted message.

I know the females on here get bombarded, but the most off-putting things I see are the ones who "lay down the law" in very harsh terms e.g.

I don't do ..... so if thats a problem then fuck off

I know it must get annoying to get so many idiots contacting with wink, one liners or blunt up front requests

But as the previous post said about things you would or wouldn't say in real life, then surely this type of profile would put the good guys off as well as the bad and if someone is stoopid enough to make a "lets fuck" type of approach, they're going to ignore anything they read on the profile.

I don't think the ratio of real to fake is that bad on fab. Reason being that on other sites, you get a few replies, but asking for webcam verification, cue credit card and URL direct to webcams dot com.

So far on Fab I've not encountered a profile like that, or am just better at not making contact with them in the first place.

I just had a message on another site from someone trying to impress me to meet, saying he only does 4* hotels. Well, he at least read my profile, but thought when I said I don't doo hotels EVER, I just ment Travel Lodges!

He was also married - quell surprise!!

I only meet single men, and on the whole I think most are respectful, they want to play after all, and understand how to get a meet at least.

Some will NEVER get it, and think women on sites like this are slags, slappers - they even come into the forums and write it - so hey!

Don't let those that haven't read your profile, or are rude put you off. There are enough decent blokes to make up for it. It's all part of the experience, and you can either, delete and move on, or get upset. If you get upset, you'll probably need to think seriously if this is for you.

I also have a 'password' but will still READ every message. Some who use the header will not get a reply if they obviously haven't read my profile properly. Others who don't use the header but still send a msg that maybe stands out will get a response.

It is a good idea, but don't warn members at the start of the profile that there are certain words to find whilst the profile is being read.

Just put them in and say nothing.

LOL don't worry about your profile, it's fine, and most men (i.e. the idiots) won't read it, anyway! Just be ready to hit the 'delete' button on 90% of the mails you receive (and don't feel guilty about not replying to those).

You'll find that this leaves you with a small minority of messages, which are well-thought-out and courteous. Some of those will be from gentlemen with profiles which match your requirements, and you're on to a winner!

As with all free sites, there are a lot of strange folk on here, but fortunately there are some lovely people as well. Happy swinging! x

LOL, you're right, not all the non-profile-readers are men. I've had unwelcome mails from couples and females, as well. Just .... more of the "unwelcome" mails are from men. Which is a pity, since I only meet men LOL

You are right, but I think the volume of men on here tilts the ballance more than a little. Tbh i've been lucky, just nice people getting in touch. Hell, i've spent half a day exchanging mail with gay guys, which totally falls outside my profile, but it was a good chat lol

True, but as i said i've been lucky, the good has really outweighted the bad on here... Even the couples and women that delete without responses (ok, i know about mail volumes and all that, don't hit me i'm not starting that argument again, it still sucks though...lol) haven't put me off and i'm glad as i've met some great people here

the single girls on fab undoubtedly receive hundreds of messages on a daily basis from lads, its a pain sometimes because girls who are friends with lads sometimes miss our messages because of the ammount of mail they receive,most of the time its lads who have no intention of meeting who send these messages hoping to get a cheap thrill out of getting a reply just to boost there ego,however i only ever send messages to anybody if i genuinly would like to meet them whether its a female a male or a couple.

TBH wer extremely cautious of single female profiles, might make us seem a lil rude in our replys but we always try not to be, as a genuine single fem is like a huge beautifully cut diamond :D

Just we know for absoulte 100% fact that guys create profiles on here to steal pics and upload them to amatuer porn sharing sites....weve had it happen to us a few times.

In fact on one site a few yrs back, some 1 stole our pics and created there own profile on the very same website with our pics. We wer like WTF

Not going to blow my own trumpet too much but I take the time and effort, attend parties and socials and try to make friends in chat. I now do very nicely thank you. WAY beyond what you would expect for someone like me.

Thats why we said we are cautious....if theyre verified genuine then thats fine...but not every1 is verified genuine on here...and that goes for cpls aswell as for single...and also we didnt say it was just single fems that could be dodgy.

I don't think that up4it means that ALL single female profiles are dodgy, but some of them certainly are. Key word in up4it's post is that they are 'replying' to mails, i.e. the contact has been initiated by the single female. I hope I can say, without sounding vain, that I have never initiated a contact, because of the sheer number of people who get in touch with me.

But when I receive a mail from a single man posing as a female, it's usually very obvious from their writing style anyway, so it's 'report and block'.

Sure the pic will grab my attention,but if the profile is badly written,or is full of the dreaded 'txt talk',then ill lose interest pronto.Another big turn-off is the 'ill shag anything' profiles,standards count for a lot
