Just wondered what your _iews are.

Both have there plus points.

1 off meets have the novelty factor, something/someone new, the excitement and anticipation. A new discovery if you like.

Or

Long term, as the trust builds to push boundaries.

Long term can be great but extremely difficult to establish and maintain. One offs can be great too.

Our ideal would be a small group of friends.

Just where I need to be.

Prefer long term but not too regular. So the excitement is still there but you have built up trust over time to explore more. This works better for me and my friends here and off site.

I have tried it, the longest long term lasted 3 meets lol, but I felt too awkward, maibe as it gets predictable and not much to chat about, or haven't meet the right one to have it long term with yet.

But of course having it one off is a lot easier. Just do the business and go

Can't really plan these things, they just sort of evolve. A first meet goes well then you meet again. Before you know it you've been seeing each other for ages.

Means you can be spontaneous at short notice but without the stranger danger.

Not meeting too often keeps the intensity going but also the benefit of pushing boundaries.

One off suit me fine, I don't mind re meets if we really get but not to regular, every few months of so, I wouldn't want to meet the same person on a weekly basis, I find sex gets a bit samey and boring if you meet to regular

Why does wanting a regular meet make it dating?

Even before I was with my partner (who is on here on my couples account with me) I wanted regular friends, but did not want to date. Just sex and some friendship when we were together, and then to do our own thing between meets.

Because we don't meet very often, and it is only in clubs we tend to go with the flow and this results in meeting new people and one off's. We're happy to meet people again but the logistics of making it happen means we've got more chance with the Euromillions!

Seems to me, best to keep an open mind.

Do love the excitement and nerves about a new meet. But, if it's not too regular, each meet can be similar to the first.

Too regular, I reckon would lose that anticipation, to a degree at least.

I always stuck to one offs as as soon as they became semi regular, after, men would exhibit stalker ish behaviour, ie why can't you meet now, drop everything, why aren't you talking to me ... so I focused on one offs and made that clear, as fab meets were to scratch an itch. Then along came someone I wanted to push the boundaries with and who totally respected me as a person ... now its a regular thing.

Depends how much you like or fancy each other really. And what you both want. Don't think there's any magic formula for it. Good thing to discuss either before you meet on at a social meet. However you might have mind blowing sex and want to meet up again a lot! So, as I said previously... It depends!

We have had a fair few couples looking for regular meets. Think Mr wouldn't mind but I am very against it.

Have lots of friends that we bump into here and there and sometimes play with but mostly one offs for us x

From our experience you are likely to get expectation , less respect , presumption , here we go again , boredom , and as each meet goes by a feeling of less excitement , no adrenalin , and eventually you'll wonder why you are bothering .

Other experiences are available of course , but that's how we have found it .

As a single male, then I would not go looking for long term with couples. Long term usually leads to emotional attachment. I meet couples to have good sex, NOT to steal wives!

However, I definitely would be up for forming something long term with a genuinely single woman.

Then, when I'm part of a "couple", I would be relaxed about long term playing with another couple.

Does that make sense?
