Interested to hear other people's views

Hi thought I would finally open a topic on here after being on an off this site for many years and reading some excellent and interesting posts and views also reading some really bad ones that always bring some of the funniest answers and one liners.

What I am interested in hearing is what are your views these days about how you view the word 'swinger(s)'.

The reason I ask is I got drawn into the scene at a very young age before fabs was here and a Polaroid camera was your best freind and you would contact people via the post to a po number back then when the word 'swinger' was dirty and only whispered lol.

There was only one or two sites slowly starting up at the time so that also helped.

For me the reason I wanted to or thought I might want to see what this was about was because even at a young age I had some very what I thought at the time were strange and embarrassing sexual thoughts that I would never talk about because I would be seen as a perveted and strange young guy that needs locking up haha.

I was very much sexually inexperienced and also girls my age back then would not talk openly about sex and what they was turned on by.

So when I finally took the plunge and made one of my fantasies happen if felt amazing but the feeling I got was more amazing then I ever imagined when I use to fantasie about while I had a wank.

The reason for that was because I had just been with an older lady just as I pictured but the biggest turn on was that her husband was watching us and listening the whole time and for me knowing how I pleased another mans wife and having him know how this inexperienced young guy had made her cum and pleased her for me felt amazing and I then suddenly had a new sexual need I wanted to enjoy again and never thought about or even new that something like that could happen.

Like I said everyone's view is different this one is mine.

The reaon I ask and it might just be me that's why I am seeing if others think the same.

But has the enjoyment of people who want more than a vanilla style of sex life that want to openly talk to other people who have a kinky and open mindedness to them and want to be able to explore and enjoy it not just physically pleasing but also mentally pleasing.

Which seems harder to find on this site and being able to talk openly about with so many people (I mean no offence but I know it's coming with the abuse lol each to there own remember) thinking the word swinger means People that just fuck with no imagination or chemistry.

The fact the time wasters an idiots have put the genuine people a little less more willing to open up as they once would until they are 1000% sure you are a genuine single male but also the word 'slut' is used so easy now along with meaningless sex with no imagination or mental stimulation to stimulate the body.

'Fuck and go' I believe is the term used.

So has the word 'swinger(s)' now viewed as seedy and easy sex ?

Or are there still the open minded kinky and amazing people who have a side to them that made the scene it once was sharing our wicked side and enjoying the social where the mental stimulation starts and the spark is there that leads to an amazing and fun filled evening.

I hope I might have got my views across and dont intended to view my views as the right ones but for me that's why I started an still enjoy being here.

Although I'm genuinely curious what "imaginative sex" means to you.

See in my mind there is a distinction between swinging and kink. I guess it's dependant on what you consider, nilla & kinky though.

This site allows for a certain cross over but it's much better than pre "t'web" & events are much more open & common place now.

I think with the Internet both the labels 'swinger' & 'kinkster' have become more main stream and accepted; however, perception of both labels is vastly different

Hiya OP,

I actually find your post really interesting. I've been thinking about something similar, recently. I will begin by saying that I think that everyone should be able to use the site, and clubs for that matter, as they see fit and that my comments are only relating to my own experience and desires from using these mediums. So, they are in no way intended as a criticism.

My husband and I joined the site because we wanted to experience things that we could not do with just the two of us - so watching, being watched, group sex, threesomes, sexual liberation generally. If we want mf sex, we get it with eachother, really.

So, personally, we tend to look for people to play with who have a similar outlook. This is rather easy with couples, because they tend to be in a simliar situation to ourselves. And we haven't played much with single women, so I can't speak to them. But with single guys, who we really do enjoy playing with, it can be difficult to find people who want to play in order to experience "kinky" scenarios. What I mean is, we tend to find a lot of guys who really just want sex, preferably with a single woman, but are willing to play with a couple because they are finding it hard to meet single women. Now, as I've said, people are free to play how they want and I love that about the site, but it can make finding what we are looking for difficult because if a guy gets an offer from a single woman, we tend to get a cancellation and we get to read a nice verification the next day.

However, I can totally see where your OP is coming from, even though it's a slightly different issue. Personally I wouldn't care except that it results in a number of cancelled meets for us. But then, I find that we've gotten better at finding people who are interested in what we are looking for, and that clubs are awesome because cancelling isn't an option

I dunno if that all makes sense, but it did in my head. Haha!
