A quick question aimed at those people with no public pictures and bugger all on their profile.

When you send messages that just say;

"Hi. Wanna meet?"

....has this ever worked?

We've had quite a few of these recently and while we usually just delete them we were just curious to know if it's ever actually paid off.

I would very much doubt anyone who cant say more than " hi" as an opening message will get a meet...

The lack of effort would put anyone off

Yes, happens a lot and even as you are chatting to them, still no pics back, its like they expect you to meet them, even tho they seen yours lol.

I'd say not much hope getting a meet. I write decent messages to people and got quite a bit on my profile too. But still get little interest so those with no pics and little text I'd say don't stand much of a chance

If you can't even string a decent sentence together why would anyone be interested in replying let alone meeting you come on people! Saying that I've tried ' hi wanna meet' and I can say this it had never worked if you can't be arsed to think of anything to say just send a wink because there's just as much hope

I don't give out my photo until I have established a connection of some sort, even of its only a shared sense of humour. But I'd never meet without seeing a pic, and I'd not want to meet anyone who'd meet me without seeing what I look like either...

Funnily enough when I didn't have a lot more information on my profile and sent a a one line message about her status message. Over a year later and we still see each other most weeks and are having more fun than is decent

It works. There was a couple on here (a few weeks back) complaining people wanted face pics. They refuse to give face pics as they like discretion, they still managed to get meets through it, so I guess it does work. Personally I would never meet anyone without knowing what they looked like.
