Try seeking out a peer rope group. There you'll be able to learn about safe rope bondage and you'll know what to look out for when you're organising one to one sessions.

That's fair. I know several tops who are men who enjoy hitchin bitches. Not because they enjoy being tied up particularly, but because you learn an awful lot by being tied up.

I am very lucky to be in a relationship with a rigger who I trust completely and takes it very seriously.

There are risks involved so I would suggest taking your time with it, especially suspension but wow when you get there it is AMAZING!

my partner is a rigger, we adore rope work and suspension, there are a lot of people that say they know about rope but is dangerous if not done properly, as other posts have said peer rope workshops are the best way, you will find a few on the well known felt site.

Peer rope is a great place to start out. Great workshops. Good self guides on the net as well to give you a starting block. I'm just starting to get into suspension having had a lot of fun learning Shibari on the floor.

Fl has some great advice to get you started out as well. Along with details of local workshop. You would probably find a top willing to tie a new bottom as well.
