I get them all the time from guys in the motorsports industries because of where I live. Quite often with promises of vip tickets to various big events over at silverstone. Being a motorsports enthusiast myself, I know that the tickets they're promising me for having sex with them don't excist. Or if they do, they wouldn't be given away by someone of their pay grade.

I did once, the guy offered to take me out for the day too. Turned out to be more hassle than it was worth, think this was when i first realised i didn't like planning meets.

But did end up going to a wonderful party.

We have had the "I'm in a hotel near you right now" messages but I just think the expectation that you will stop everything just to satisfy someone else is probably a little ambititious. Also, "near you" would sometimes involve a 100 mile round trip

we agree with the above yes, we don't do impromptu rush off now type meets - we have had a hotel meet that was lacking in atmosphere and felt too mechanical - the other was hot,hot,hot - neither was spontaneous though as we usually have to plan meets to fit them in with our busy life.

I get it all the time being near Heathrow. Usually late at night too. 99% are about what they want only and all get deleted, I may be a swinger but I don't sit here waiting to provide a service on demand. That's what it feels like getting so many anyway!

I've had offers as I don't live that far from the airport but I never take them up on it, I would t mind if I chatted before have but just to go and meet someone after one message? It seems a bit too 'cold' to me. I like a bit of back and forth first messaging etc x

Yes, I've had a couple of spontaneous hotel meets and some lovely long-term relationships as a result of hotel meets (but I do tend to live in hotels as I work away from home most weeks).

For us it's a bit of a waste of time as due to Ginger's job she's not normally available on the dates they give. We have done spontaneous meets but on our terms normally and usually with people we've chatted to instead of complete strangers.

I very nearly had a meet on the back of this kind of message from a couple who were staying the night in a hotel very local to me...think they shagged each other silly early on in the evening and the wife decided she was actually shagged out..lol...they are still in touch

I get these kind of messages often. I guess it's because I'm in the middle of the country right near the M1.

Never have taken anyone up on their offer though. I quite like the odd hotel meet with someone I've been chatting to prior but going to see someone who's 'passing through' isn't my thing.

I travel around the country on business and so I am often staying at hotels and have had meets there after putting in status that I was in a certain area...

I do however tend to stay regularly in same areas and indeed same hotels so some of my meets are more planned and indeed with same people....Although always happy to meet others too..

We did this once early on when we joined fab. It's not something I would actively do again. No real reason, just hasn't been an offer that's intrigued me enough.

However, we post these typeset meets regularly when we are traveling around - usually the responses are from single guys and they fall through more often than they actually happen

I stay away swome weeks as its the nature of my work. I tend change my location to wherever I'm staying so I/meets pop up on the local cpls/fems search results.

They certainly do meet us single fella's whilst we're hotelling local.

Saying that whenever I meet whilst working away it's never from a hi I'm in a local hotel, come on over email that's for sure

I cannot imagine a cpl/fem taking that and approach seriously.

Horses for courses though

I mention (rather strongly) on my profile about hotel meets. They can and have been great fun. But like must things become samey.

The ones that I still receive the most of are from men in hotels, at the airport, it's funny because "hello" have you seen the cost of parking at airports ahhaha feck off.

But the 5* cheek does work, as only a couple of months back. I stayed at the Gotham in Manchester, great art in the gallery stairwell, which I hope doesn't have cameras as we got a little distrated, on my cockney tour, from the rooftop bar to the bedroom.
