The purpose of photos on a profile is twofold for me:

1 - gives an indication of what that person is into (my photos are arty farty filtered, black and white, lingerie - so I'm probably not going to be into dogging, for example)

2 - show what they look like.

So the photos you're describing pass the first test but not the second. So yeah, a few is fine, if that's the entire profile then it's as pointless in my view as a profile with just cock pics and nothing else.
