Are there swingers out there that are ashamed for being swingers,would they die of shock of anyone found it. And is there anyone out there that was found out and shunned because of their lifestyle choice?

I think That is two completely different questions you are asking there...

I'll answer the first half... why would you post in the forums if you were ashamed of being on the site? surely you would just hide in the corners as much as possible, as in you wouldn't bring attention to the fact that you were ashamed as such!

I wouldn't use the word "ashamed", but I do think there are people out there being very "opotunistic" and in effect trying to have cake and eat it as such without better halves finding out... and I'll leave it at that....

I agree that ashamed is the wrong word. There are many sexual diversities that stray away from what is considered the 'norm' and some are compelled to indulge in so perhaps don't like themselves for it because they feel it is socially unacceptable to others and they are afraid of their indulgence being found out. In some cases people do feel ashamed of themselves for being unable to resist. If they openly indulge and interact with others of the same preference though I think enjoyment outweighs shameful feelings. Perhaps the op should have asked the question do you struggle with certain aspects of sexual practices that are considered taboo in society, which you like to partake in.

Sucking fish genitals is never considered normal btw.

I happen to think, and this is just MY oppinion, that its the word ASHAMED that you use that is incorrect. I for one wouldnt do things on a regualr basis that I was ashamed of doing. That said, there has been the odd occassion that I wish with hindsight not to have done in the first place.

I do feel that we are awear that some people in our regualer lives wouldn't understand about our choice of lifestyle ie: swinging, and for that reason I think some folks choose to be very private in regards to how they conduct themselves in and around the swing scene. Does that make them ashamed of what they do.........Hell no way.

Never been ashamed of what we do,would'nt die of shock if people found out but at the same time are private and don't go around shouting about our personal sexlife as its really only our business anyway........and the people we play with of course

I have black male friends who will not eat anything their wives or girlfriends cook when they're on their period as they see them as unclean.

I have girlfriends that do not, will not, and never have indulged in oral sex, giving or receiving.

Now...for me to let any of my friends know I meet white men of the internet, tie them up, poke things into their bottoms and piss on them - the information will lead to me being barred from their houses, said houses would be fumigated because I would be seen as disgusting and nasty.

Am I ashamed of my lifestyle?!! Oh hell no. I usually have one of my subs displayed naked on my dining table for my enjoyment and amusement - have some fantastic pictures to remind me, and my twisted mind does smile when friends are gathered around my dining table, as they would go balistic if they knew they were eating on a table a naked man had been sprawled with a butt plug up his arse!!!

I'm not ashamed of anything I do, but I am aware that my behavious wouldn't be acceptable to my family and friends, so I keep it to myself!

There's always a reason why some give up swinging, however, being found out as swinger's is usually at the bottom of the list

I'm not ashamed of what I do however it's not often that I volunteer the information either.

I have self respect and believe that discretion is important. It it comes up in conversation with trusted friends or if somebody recognises me somewhere then I have no problem in talking about it.

I am not ashamed.. I recently got outed by someone I considered a close friend.. a girl that had actually been being my safety net when Meeting etc..

She told half the mums at my school.. few stopped talking to me, few didnt believe her.. the rest thought she was a bitch for having said anything in the first place..

I would never do it if I was ashamed.. but I do try to keep it from being public knowledge.

I am ashamed at all but I do find it funny when a few girls I know from outside off the scene say swinging is disgusting etc but they are the ones that go out every weekend and get so pissed that they sleep with strangers, prob with no protection etc...But thats ok and swinging is disgusting!
