Yes, most of the guys who contact me are "straight".

It's because some women are put off by bisexual guys, so some of these guys will lie about their sexuality so they don't put women off.

I just ignore what they have put as their sexuality as most of the time it's not true.

It's a shame that Fab doesn't have more gender and orientation options. In particular while most people identity as either male or female, gender is a spectrum. Kinsey identified orientation as such decades ago.

I would suggest that sexuality is not black and white for most people ( if not all people)

Unfortunately people in general like labels and labels need to have definitions. I've labeled myself as bi for what that is worth as it indicates that I enjoy sex with both males and females which is true. Unfortunately some see that as a cover for gay whilst others who do have sex with male and female are frightened that they may be labelled as gay. If only we could get rid of the labels and just all be ourselves!

Yeah, the 'straight' guys are lying, but I have some sympathy. Even as a relatively young 'un on here, there was a huge stigma about being attracted to other men when I was growing up, and after seeing the shit a lot of the more overtly gay guys got growing up in school, it's still something I feel quite intimidated about opening up about and am selective with who I tell.

Given how much worse the generation before me had it, I'm not surprised a lot of older guys struggle to admit it and feel some sort of weird internalised guilt on the subject. Especially when so many people seem borderline proud of their prejudices on their profile.

"Yeah, the 'straight' guys are lying, but I have some sympathy. Even as a relatively young 'un on here, there was a huge stigma about being attracted to other men when I was growing up, and after seeing the shit a lot of the more overtly gay guys got growing up in school, it's still something I feel quite intimidated about opening up about and am selective with who I tell.

I was talking to someone recently who admitted that he thoroughly enjoyed getting oral from other guys but absolutely insisted that since he didn't return the favour he was 100% straight!

My interpretation was he was not only bi but also selfish.

The real world interpretation of bi/straight/gay is totally distorted and disputed on Fab. The description "straight" is virtually useless.
