People always say if you see somebody you know on here block and ignore. We would be quite happy for a friend to pop up and say hi. They would be here for the same reason we are. Either we could add some spice to an existing friendship or just add a bit more to the chats over morning coffee. Ok if its somebody you recognise but dont know that could cause bad feeling but if its a friend?

I know, not everyone sees it that way some dont want others to know but can anyone explain why they wouldnt want a friend doing the same thing to know?

It would depend on the type of friendship.

My best friends know but I wouldn't want my clients to know and some of them are friends now.

What makes people assume that others are on here for the same reason they are?

Somedays it seems that half the threads on here are people moaning about the timewasters, fantasists, pic collectors etc etc, so I have no idea why anyone is here.

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

It is fairly easy for anyone who wishes to cause distress or hurt to someone to spill the beans about them while remaining anonymous themselves. And it has happened to people on swinging sites.

Thats why I said friends not just somebody you know. Apart from which anybody exposing you for being on here would be exposing themselves otherwise how would they know you were so seems safe to me I guess we are lucky in that we dont really mind if people find out we're not doing anything illegal and it wouldnt effect our jobs.

I saw a good friend on here not long after I joined. She removed her profile not cause she knew it was me. She rejoined recently and spotted me. She posted something one night and I messaged her. Best thing I ever did. We were already open sex wise with one another. Now I have someone to really talk over meets with.

We like it if people we know outside of fab join , or see us on here .

Whether they are here to chat / perve / meet , they are still here - and we presume will exercise discretion outside fab .

So far we have met and played with at least 10 people we know in our everyday life through them finding us on here . All have been great , and all work locally . No problem at all

We messaged you a while back, you read our message and deleted it so we thought you were saying no thanks and blocked to avoid harassing you.

Depends on who it is, a family member then adding them to spice up the friendship would be wrong. Someone in work could be touchy, as they might turn funny due to a work based tiff. You children's mate, again not a good move maybe.

The problem with connecting with people who you know on here is that different folk have different privacy requirements. Some people are happy to tell everyone about their "Fab life" where others would rather keep control of who knows and who doesn't.

I guess we have different definitions of friends. To me family members are exactly that. Childrens mates are exactly that. Friends are YOUR unrelated to you friends just to clarify my question your only valid point is the work mate but as I said by exposing you they would be exposing themselves so still dont see it as a major risk. Most people I work with, including my manager, know and think its funny so really doesnt matter to me anyway

It would depend on the friend. We have a few vanilla friends who we would love to see on here. Other ... Not so much. There is definitely potential for comeback if friendships turn sour.

I've had a weird week this week. Three people that I know in real life have contacted me on here.

A lady who I used to work with spotted that I was going to the same club she frequents and gave me a heads up to avoid that awkward moment, no problem, we've had a good chat on this site and I'm looking forward to seeing her in the club even just to say hi.

A long lost cousin who I haven't seen for nearly 30 years contacted me as I was looking at their couple profile and his pics weren't on it so I wouldn't have known it was him - thats good (could be slightly awkward meeting his wife at a familly get together after perusing her pics though).

Someone tried to get me to attend 2 threesomes with them and a friend. It turned out that they were a good friend of my ex step daughter (hopefully she wasn't the friend or that could have been REALLY awkward lol) once they realised who I was, they sent me a face pic so I could see who they were and then blocked me.

As I said a bit of a weird week.

Think I really need to change my profile pic from a face pic but I'm lousy at taking selfies, anyone got any ideas?
