I don't know if it is being a single male on this site that puts people off meeting. Am I the only single guy that seems to have this.....I mean I am polite and always respond and send more than one line so where is it all going wrong lol

If you look through the forums, there are loads of single men whinging they arn't getting laid. You seem to be, albeit not as often as you'd like, so whining in the forums, isn't going to win you any admirers.

The only thing that put me off about your profile is the fact you can't accommodate, I'm sure your reasons are genuine, and it would be the first thing I'd ask you about. Some people will not even bother to ask you, just assume you are married.

Single men are in the vast majority on here as you may have gathered...by merely having a photo other than your cheb on and more than one line of text you are doing better than probably the majority of them lol. Of course it also depends on the amount of free time you actually have to meet in, when my work hours were 35-40 a week I could manage to fit 3 meets a month in, now I work about 60 hours a week, its a lot less as more planning is needed etc, which sadly rules out a lot of spontaneous meets..

Very true, I am also very fussy about who I meet, I also prefer to meet daytime for a drink to see if we connect, sorry I guess that is lazy but my time is very precious to me!

I tend to find that too...I've never met for a drink without having sex with the lovely lady later on, and its good to get to know each other first as the sex tends to be better. Plus the drink is usually quite a fun affair with the pair of us giggling like naughty kids amongst the strait-laced vanilla crowd, wondering how people would feel about knowing why we were actually meeting...

I find this site a lot friendlier than some others as at least people respond and chat to you in the chat rooms etc.

I have also had two meets in two months....a record for me on any site.

I kind of expect the lack of replies, not out of rudeness but becuase I know that couples and single ladies get their inboxes rammed with mail from other single guys.

I guess thats why I go on the forums and chat rooms to at least let people get to know me.

There is a single male stigma on the site but don't dwell on it. you're doing well. Most single males haven't met ONCE let alone four times!

I hate to say this but it is best to say why you cannot accommodate on your profile, the fact that it says cannot without an explanation implies married and cheating on your partner. You have also said that you prefer to meet daytime for a social drink, another reason for my thought and possibly everyone elses. If you only meet daytime whether socially or not, it implies you cant meet in the evening and daytime implies that you dont have to wory about making an excuse to the wife/significant other.

I work 50 hrs pw, i have set lunchtimes, they are not always convenient to other guys so i meet in the evenings as well.

As to the number of meets you have had, thats a lot compared to some guys who have been here the same length of time and not met any. So why you have posted this ive no idea.

And remember with the first part of my comment, your profile is your shop window, with cannot accommodate, most will pass you by.

I very much doubt they're the only shags he's had in that time. For starters there's always the meets a lad will have had with people who are no longer on the site, and the people at parties, where a verification wasn't left as they didn't come across each other through here, except maybe second hand as contact was only made with the host. Then of course there's the vast majority of actual sex he will get, and thats out in the vanilla world in general.

In simple terms of guaranteed sex thats quicker to arrange as well, I'd simply walk into a vanilla club in the City Centre. The reason I believe many single men such as myself use this site as well is the greater chance of quality sex and the likelihood of finding sexual liaisons with people who may be interested in certain kinks, such as role play, watersports, fetishes for certain parts of the body, etc, and who have a sex drive thats normally higher than most, as well as finding out a bit about them beforehand.That and being able to chat about anything that one wishes to with a degree of freedom that you don't find in the outside world.

Its true that there's also the moron factor of single men on here in droves who join because they can't find sex in the outside world, (as I'm sure there's the female equivelent on here too) and assume a sex site is the place to find it, but somehow I don't think he'd fit into that category....

I was going to answer this post yesterday, but got distracted, but I did read the OP's profile.

What I was going to write that although 99% of my meets are in my home, which I share with my daughters, I like the option of playing in someone elses home as it means they are respectful and don't assume my house is a knocking shop.

Low and frigging behold, I come back to this thread today and by chance look at the OPs profile and what does he say?!! I live with my son and my house is not a knocking shop, but he has a meet today up where he wants to meet in somebody elses house!!!

I like the forums, so don't want to risk a ban putting what I really think, but I'm sure you get the idea OP. YOUR home isn't a knocking shop, but the women/couple you meet is ok for their homes to be.

Let's face it, 4 meets in 7 months no matter which site you're on is shite... if you are actually actively looking for more.

I never get it when people say "You've only been on here X months and you have already had a meet, you are luckier than most men" ... yeah most ugly as sin men or those who type with their cock and have one brain cell.

i prefer to let things flow i dont very often mail prospective meets i spend time talking getting to know each other and flirt i feel if you place to much emphasis on the down n dirty it puts peeps off so i think of it as social first anything else is a bonus

there is no stigma of single men here... you make of the site what you make of it.. simple as! there are loads and generally people will take people on there own merits, but the facts are is there are loads of men here and not as many women or couples... thats the reality
