Plenty of profiles on fab looking for local meets, but what is the furthest you would travel for a meet, or the furthest you have travelled?

Edinburgh - which meant driving to Bristol airport (just over 40 miles) and then a flight from there to Edinburgh - another 390 miles) (and then a taxi into town) - and back again the following day

3 hours on the motorway used to be our limit. Have to revise that now though.

Happy to stay overnight somewhere. But for us, local is better and a short (40 miles) drive next best.

That's only because we don't really want one-off meets, so convenience is key for us.

Oh yes. Nana Plaza, Beer Garden, Thermae, Sukhumvit odd-side and Soi Cowboy. I just can't wait. It's giving me sleepless nights! But I wish my "regular" would reply to my latest message

In the early days I've travelled to Oswestry and Wilmslow, nowadays I travel 100m for a social meet (coffee in the station near my office) and no more than a five mile radius.

I travel the whole of UK and Ireland(North & South) on business from Glasgow so I have had meets all over. Luckily I am usually staying overnights in hotels so can accommodate which also helps....

I had young daughters at home and preferred to meet well away from them. I'd go travelling when they were at their dads. They are now adults.

However, I now have a partner, I don't think he'd like me spending weekends away...so I meet locally and in clubs with him.

We will travel pretty far for a club event (went down to Devon for one once), or while we are traveling we will look for meets (or even just socials with people I chat to on the forums). We would not be likely to travel very far for a meet, though.

And I don't really like meets traveling far for us. I think it puts too much pressure on the meet to have been "worth it."

I had a woman fly from Brussels to Amsterdam one time to meet me. Another woman flew to the states. Me personally I would worry if I traveled a long distance because I have been stood up in the past luckily all those that didn't work out were local meets.

Prague and New York

Distance do nit need to means unpossibility of repeat meets.

We met one couple in Maspalomas / Gran Canaria, then in Vienna/ Austria on a party, thrn in Prague / Czech Republic and then in London.

Another couple we met in Slovinia once, few times in Vienna, few times in Gran Canaria and few times in Prague.

We travel some 3-4 times a year to great (and wild ) parties in Vienna.

World is small

When I first joined fab way back yonder I did travel furthest I went I think was reading...but from experience and a few disastrous meets via travelling a distance I now meet local and have enjoyed the local meets. I do however have one sexy forumite travelling from Portsmouth to see me which is a good 4 hrs plus but they are here for the wknd and wont be hurrying back down that's for sure. And I do have 2 reprobates coming up to see me in the NY and they are travelling too. But for me I will go no further than a hours tops...not anymore .

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire)

I've travelled to Liverpool from an hour north west of Aberdeen, but combined it with my other passion... football!

Had a couple travel up from Stoke to meet me socially too.

On fab though I prefer local... within about 50 miles as I already travel 150 miles each way regularly for my lover in Edinburgh

Easter just around the corner!

I wouldn't want someone travelling more than an hour incase they were disappointed or no attraction there on both sides. An hour for me,unless it's a second meet.

They would have to be visually impaired not to find you attractive or be disappointed, judging from your pics!
