When we used to organise the odd swingers camping/caravanning events down this way we had everyone who was from the website fly Jolly Roger flags from their tents.....I kid you not

That is a great idea Jane.

Could we make the suggestion that the Jolly Roger flag / symbol could be a swinging symbol in all situations ?

Or does it represent other things too ?

No, it came about by chance when a 'member' of our old swingers camping and caravanning site suggested that we al fly the same flag....well we went into a seaside shop and saw all the old usual flags (Union Jack, Three Lions, St George etc.) and by chance noticed jolly roger sandcastle flags.

We then found a company online who makes flags and put our members onto it, you can get jolly roger flags in all sizes from bunting size to an 8'x4'.

I will always remember having to ask the owner of a Devon campsite to direct drivers flying a jolly roger flag from their car ariel up to the secluded corner of the campsite we had chosen.

When he asked what it represented....the first thing that came into my husbands head was that we were a Royal Navy reunion club!

By all means keep that flag flying folks, and use it for your camping shenannigans!

I flew a Jolly Roger from my tent some 3 years ago on a camp site, before I was separated and got into swinging!!

Could have been interesting!

Haha Invictus . . Shame it was only "could" eh ?

When we go to Cap D'Agde this summer we will definitely bring the flag and fly it high, see what happens.

Hope to see y'all there.

oh boy this could be fun!! I am a biker and attend quite a few bike rallies throughout the year of varying sizes. I can promise you will see several jolly roger flags flying from tents at rallies....I know exactly what I am gonna be thinking this year!!

.....They are actually just to identify your tent when you are pissed and walking through 300 blue tents just like yours!!

The one with a bloke bent over and throwing up stands for 'hot food served here'

How about ideas for the design of a Fabswingers flag recognised by all.. loads of imaginitive people on this site to come up with a suitable design - get your felt tips out and tell us yours tehn we could put it to a vote for the winning one...

I mainly camp at C&CC's club sites, and would never dream of approaching anyone to see if they could be swingers!

Besides, I only play with singles, and I don't meet too many single gents while I go camping at club sites.

The jolly roger flags are seen everywhere, and easily available. Seeing as the skull is always white on black it would be esy to colour it differently, say red or green, as a unique signal that only we all know about...just an idea. Far easier than trying to come up with custom Fab flag

Ooh I dunno but then again I'm anal... not a term to be used loosely around here. How about a limb entangled couple silhouette on a swing?

I'm working away from home at the mo and am camping through the week.

It is perfect for meeting for fun. Having a recognised logo to symbalise that you swing is a brill idea. At the mo I leave a fab ice lolly wrapper on top of my wind break but no one has stopped me to buy one! Shame
