I have two sleeves but they have been an ever evolving project which started in the army sometime ago. Ink is a personal thing it may look cool to some but to the wearer it has a deep meaning. Plus the experience of getting it is exciting, expensive, and uncomfortable which makes it even more special to the person making the lifetime commitment to having it.

Same...spent thousands... have an 8 he sitting on 30th Dec at 80.00 an hour with an artist that has a year waiting list...I can assure you the result won't be tramp stamping lol x

At the end of the day each to their own. However, the guy who did my tattoo is a watercolour painter. He painted the tattoo and then tattooed it exactly (paint droplets, out of the lines, a little smudge). It is literally a piece of art on my skin. Absolutely adore it!

Correct, the term was coined by the american porn industry..as many of the performers, after all the nips/tucks/implants/make up etc were indistinguishable when they were face down/arse up, the lower back tattoos were sometimes the only way to tell them apart
