no shows

hi all we had a experiance on sunday that we arranged a meet with a single guy but he never showed up he would not make contact with us after trying to call which really made me angry is it now time for everyone that that gets messed about buy guys to start naming and shaming these people so others dont have the same trouble or can fab set something up so we could log on to see if these people are on a list or something. now please to all you other single guys that do turn up i am not having a go at you but it makes your life hell to as people will stop playing with you we have had some great nights with single guys and thankyou you know who you are and i must say a thankyou to the guy that did help us out at 11pm on sunday night thankyou

can we name and shame couples who dont turn up too or are we just singling out men again?

Naming and shaming is against site rules for loads of good reasons so id take what you have off your status now before it gets reported

but you can report a profile for not turning up,does'nt mean they'll get kicked off the site but it will allow admin to keep an eye on people to see if its the same people not showing on a regular basis

there could never be a workable name and shame procedure, it would alway be open to misuse, so you will just have to wise up a bit.

So where were you yesterday morning? I travelled all the way down to meet you in the Hotel as planned and you didn't show, £100 train ticket and £50 Hotel fee totally wasted so I'm not a happy bunny today!

Of course, the above isn't true but you might be able to see how naming and shaming just wouldn't work!

Although there is now a facility on the "Report User" page to tick "Arranged meet, did not turn up" - What Admin do with the reports is a mystery to me but it's better than starting a forum about it.

to be honest this idea would never work anyway, you would never see anyone on this site that was on a name and shame board because they would just delete their profile come back with a new un black listed name

We have reported a few guys for not turning up without letting us know.. if its a genuine reason and they let us know then we dont mind..

Although one recently let us down for 3rd time in a row, despite having met twice previously and we decided to just cut our loses and block and move on to other single men.

It is a pain... and We if a guy doesnt let us know and just is a no show report them and move on.

Doesn't annoy me in the slightest, if I say I am going to meet with others then I show up, I've been to lots of Socials and I'm a regular in the Scottish Chatroom so I'm well known up here anyway.

I never get why people say what others do is ever going to affect other peoples chances on here. They do what they do, I do what I do.

Some just bottle it and its hard for a man to admit that.. they would rather just vanish. That is why I tend to only play with people that are verified for meeting in person.

Some we have had are hoping to get some dirty calls or texts prior to the meet time, had one guy that kept saying what are you wearing, send me a photo.. but I told him if he stopped texting and hurried up over he would find out.. he texted up till 5 mins before the meet.. then phone was off... 3 days later he texted me asking could he come over for a fuck.. got told what he could do.

But not every couple gets messed about, so there will always be couples who want to meet some single males more than once!

We dont meet couples that much..and never as a couple.. so Single guys are a big part of our play..

So we are now in the position of having about 10 that we can see whos free.. be good to get all 10 free at the same time though.. lol

Thank God it's only single men who know how to behave badly. Thank God all couples and single females are perfect. Thank God all couples all read profiles and only ever respond to bi females who are looking to meet couples....

More single male bashing - you say yourself you've met some lovely guys so why generalise? I'd think twice about meeitng you again if I were one of the ones who had met you before if that's your reaction.

If people change their requirements because some idiots didn't turn up - should they be taken seriously anyway? Seems odd to deprive yourself of a good experience because you couldn't differentiate between reliable and unreliable people...

It has never bothered what other single men do. In fact, I'm always happy to hear about timewasters and no-shows and bottled-outers. It reinforces how different I am from them.

Let's hope that this guy aint in hospital or something, you know, people do have genuine reasons for not showing and no contact.

Peoples lives come first and swinging will be at the bottom of priorities and sometimes in a bad situation, contacting a meet could be low in their list of priorities

I only meet single guys.

In three years not had one bottle it yet. Did have one that couldn't perform, and when I went to the loo to give him time he got dressed and ran out the house!!!

Two years later that still tickles me!!

its not just single guys

last year we drove 2.5 hrs

paid for a lovely hotel

and sat in the restaurant waiting our guests

and no show - no phone call - nothing

until we got home and found their message on our land line which was left 10 minutes before they were due to meet us

we were really naffed off

yeah we had a cpl of no shows from couples when i was with the ex, i remember one couple that didnt turn up and next time i saw them on line i asked them where they was and he said they was there but he was told we send out false pics so he was looking for someone else lol

not that that expains why we didnt see them lol

It can be frustrating when you are new to a sitee and are trying to arrange meeting people from here. There can be a bit of a single guy stigma.

However Iam pleased to say that I have met two great couples from this site and had a lot of fun. It it much better than another certain stie that I was on beforehand.

I will be moving up to the midlands again in a few months so hopefully I will be able to meet people up there and attend some of the clubs.

Funny thing was we'd met socially the week before and when we hugged on parting his hard on nearly bored me a new belly button!

I hadn't even taken my clothes off yet, it just wasn't going hard!

Ive had that too, he sent me a message on here to let me know he again couldnt make it but after i had logged off so i didnt get it until i got home, just decided not to bother after the 3rd time, and told him so too

I had one who tried to hide behind a post outside Asda, just wasnt big enough for him, he looked so stupid then walked off

I'm single and I think we get a raw deal on here. So far I've had 2 no shows the one was a couple who came to my house I told them where to put their car and I never saw them again!!!
