Need to rant i am in a temp job till xmas today was the last straw. I was suppose to of taken an item off the shop floor and not rang it through the till.

But the customer did not bring an item off the shop floor my team leader had a chat she was ok. But the woman from the stock room had a right go at me on the shop floor.

She said she was going to challenge a manager because i should of known about it. I can't remember everything there is loads to remember,so i ask for help if i get stuck.The training is rubbish its all online training.

Its like she wants to get me into trouble and make me look stupid. I'm just wondering if i should quit or wait for them to sack me because it looks that way.

I know it sounds stupid but im not the type to get into confrontation. The stockroom manager is just taking it to far.

Stockroom managers are under a lot of pressure this time of year.

BUT that is no excuse to speak to people like that and it is not allowed.

Do you like the job? Can you get another one? Have you had a word with your line manager?

It's unprofessional to discipline you verbally in front of customers. If you can afford to leave, then resign rather than get sacked.

Cant stand the job anymore i was thinking about pertemps, the manager she was talking about was off today and i'm off tomorrow.

I handed in my notice at Bog hq (bhs) on Friday and walked into a temp Xmas contract with a loreal high st store on Monday. If it's making you miserable leave, but only if there's something in the pipeline!
