Is it just me or are there loads of fake profiles appeared on here at the moment. Last week I started chatting to someone, utterly gorgeous and I was sure he was too good to be true. A couple of days later he went silent on here and on kik. I googled his pics because I had a hunch and he turns up on an Instagram account as a single gay bloke! Really bizarre and there seem to be lots more on here, with no verifications and suspect photos. Just wondered if any other ladies are experiencing it? I've been on for years and never have seen this before x

Set the filters so you don't get the messages from people who aren't at least photoverified.

we have had a couple of women do that to us, clearly not actually women

very frustrating to have your hopes built up then dashed away again

There are loads of profiles that upload fake pics. Google Image Search is great for that because, as the old saying goes, if it seems to good to be true, it is.

They always steal them from gay sites though.

At the point you felt sure he was too good to be true you should have listened ti your instincts
