We used to get lots of messages whenever we logged on. Now we get none.

To be honest I think men are reading a lot more forum posts and starting to become more choosey, you'll still get the guys that will text absolutely everyone..but I think single guys in particular are wishing up to sight a bit...

Thank god! Thought it was just me, but looks like things are definitely quieter. I wonder whether it has to do with all the recent media attention, which has attracted a lot of 'newbies' to these sites who aren't real swingers?

I do feel the nature of the site has changed subtly, something of the vibe seems missing?

We've been on and off this site for a few years and do seem to be getting more messages lately. But our 'success rate' is lower.

For single guys this is quite normal - the trick is to be patient, chat in the post, get to understand how it all works and enjoy fab as a whole.

Same here though ours is a recent profile so I guess there's the natural early burst of enthusiasm for a new couple on the site and then things settle down.

Trouble is, I'd be afea_ed of a reply saying "can't you read? Dildo brain, it's says no men" so I don't message anyone who isn't looking for bi men.

The only abuse I like is self.

we have never had loads anyway, so not really noticed a huge decline, probably we too old for many on here and we do say ourlowerage limit is 40 so that stops the men that actually reading profiles from messaging too much lol

If you send a message, and it is notnreplied to, the next time you try to send a message it atates above the input section that. You have contacted this person before they didnt reply.. and that it could be conside_ed rude to message them again..

Maybe all thise unreplied to guys just dont want to be rude?

Perhaps send out messages yourself.

We still get a fair few and if we switch to wanting singles for a day or two it still goes through the roof. Much more Respectful messages rather than dickhead messages which shows people on here are much nicer or the chancers have done one.

It's fairly natural to feel a decline after being on the site for a while - the local users who meet your preferences will have already looked, messaged and perhaps met you.....or decided that you're not for them.

Fab is never going to provide an endless stream of couples to meet....but we find that changing up your profile pics and prose, meeting people through clubs and parties and perhaps widening the search a little will always help.

Oh, and if our experience of opening up on occasion to single men is anything to go by Fab is perfectly fit and healthy.....couple of hund_ed messages a day!!

little old town of Reading!

In my experience of Fab and other sites, it always goes crazy in the summer time and really quiets down once the weather turns cooler. I would say I have about 50% more messages in the spring and summer. I have no idea why, but I'm convinced it's a seasonal thing!!
